I'm unable to check out when I'm signed into my accounts at target & clinique.com.Target say my checkout page is slowing down firefox-click stop -I click stop&I cannot check out.

This has just started happening since I was forced to reinstall windows after a critical failure with my MBR for some reason.

I have all the settings where they should be to prevent websites from continually being logged out when I close Firefox....but each and every time I start up a browser window again...I am asked to sign in again no matter what. I am not so concerned about a majority of them, but I had it so that when my Firefox browser first opened, it went directly to the Google home page and already had me signed into my Google/Gmail account. But now...nope. I have to sign in every. Single. Time!

Right now, I have all my settings marked as I have seen in numerous other posts:

I have made sure that there ARE checks in the boxes for:

• Remember browsing and download history
• Remember search and form history
• Clear history when Firefox closes

And inside the History settings, only the cache is marked to clear every time Firefox closes.

I have made sure that there are NOT checks in the boxes for:

Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed Always use private browsing mode

And inside the History settings, there is no box checked for:

• Browsing & download history
• Active logins
• Form & search history
• cookies
• site settings
• Offline website data

None of the topic discussions about this or any combination of settings have worked for me thus far, and it getting to be quite maddening at this point. I need some help here so that when I open Firefox, I am not constantly logged out of

I can no longer choose where downloads go. I have tried "always ask" but I am getting no where. One post said open the three bars on the right an look for option. NO luck.

I have noticed in a couple of websites, a link or text box does not appear in Firefox, but does in Chrome (unfortunately, I don't remember which site that was). Also I have tried to open my Citibank account (Citibank.com.au) but it comes up with an error and wont open, yet it does with Chrome. I would rather not use Chrome, but I may not have a choice if this problem is not addressed.

I created a folder on my bookmarks toolbar, in there are more folder, entertainment , comparison sites etc. All were connecting up until a few days ago, now if I click on a link, it just does not connect. If I type in the search bar the site address it connects within seconds.

So even on a unprotected machine, some webpages VERY slow to load but not all. My internet provider, Virginmedia, is also my email provider and sometimes this email homepage times out. Had the same problem with win 10 and did think, wrongly, that installing win 11 would cure this. It did not. Any ideas on this. A good friend is a computer tech so you can get technical. In `task manger` anti virus etc has been stopped.

Hello, I have encountered a lasting issue: Firefox' telemetry collection process causes a cmd window to pop up briefly. The windows sometimes lingers a split second later, and if I accidentally click it at that time, whatever program I'm in will get minimized and I'm back on the desktop with cmd window at front. You might want to have a look at that, I disable my telemetry for time being. Firefox version is 99.0.1 (64 bits), operating system is Win10 10.0.19043. Respond for other data you might need. A subscription service I purchased (Kine Mania TV) has on several occasions gone to a porn site. I have enjoyed many hours of wholesome TV series and movies at Kine Mania TV - but HATE it when smut shows up instead! Please advise - this is scary stuff for an old lady. Thanks to Firefox, hackers will be able to infect millions of world computers and install ransomware and make havoc i financial, health, and other industries. Firefox will forever be praised by cybercriminals of the world.

something new-- I can't sign in to my att account like I always have. I can still log in on older win 7 and android devices. Only this win10 desktop is now having problems today. Any suggestions?

I use Kaspersky for my internet security. I choose the 'Safe Money' option for many other sites...but cannot connect sign on with my bank. Because the page always comes up asking for me to choose a browser. I down load and update the firefox site. This does nothing except giving me multiple firefox updates! What is happening and how can I stop having this issue pop up? The other sites on 'Safe Money' are not banking sites, but still need security. Do I have to change browsers? with firefox, drag and drop for attachments is not working using macOS High sierra, and outlook emails. It works ok in Chrome but I dont want to change over. I deleted cache and cookies and restarted. It worked ok for a while but stopped working agaiin.

Firefox is still automatically downloading files to a default directory, even though I have selected "Always ask you where to save files". This is a security risk. I want to be asked BEFORE the file is downloaded so I can choose the location or choose not to download. Thanks...Jim.
