I can't open a particular site i watch in private. I refreshed browser; I gave permissions off and then on or enhanced tracking off then on and neither nor changed anything. The website help desk that i tried opening verified password asked which browser and still it wouldn't open when putting correct information password and user name in. Any suggestions? I didn't do anything different and thought it was the website but i'm member and nothing's changed on their end.

properly. A lot of the text comes out in very narrow columns. The problem happens quite often on eBay. Chrome does render it properly. Could you please look into this? Thanks, Jon

FredMcD you asked if I could post a link to the Map . . this is the link to the page that has the map. Normally it would simply pop up as Elk Grove Village as that is the website this is in, but it does not and I can not enter the name of the city in the box provided. I am trying to use a new HP Spectre laptop which will be my all purpose home computer. I selected Firefox Browser as the default browser but I don't believe it has ever come up as my browser. It is loaded among many other apps (?). I used to call them programs (?). I get Edge, Chrome, Bing, and others, none of which I want or ask for. They just seem to appear randomly.

Dear Madam or Sir,

since updating to Firefox 99, we are unable to view PDF files in Firefox, because we are unable to select how to handle PDF files in the settings, cf. 1.PNG We don’t have any enterprise policies enabled except for disabling updates, cf. 2.PNG. We tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it did not help, cf. 3.PNG We tried safe mode and an empty user profile, both to no avail.

This problem seems to be irrespective of the user profile because when I roam my user profile to a machine with FF 93 ESR, there is no issue and I can view PDFs in the browser.

Is there any suggestion how to return the built-in PDF viewer?

So this issue just started and it's really annoying.

In order to actually see the downloads, I first have to enable the menu bar and then go Tools -> Downloads

Clicking the ↓ button should open a panel of recent downloads but nothing appears when I click on it. Furthermore, the "download complete" notification that this panel provides are no longer present.

The animation for the panel still works though.

Is there a solution to this?

Amazon 'Look Inside' pop-up does not work with FF as I've configured FF. Iv'e included a screen snip.

I've unchecked block pop-ups but still the 'Look Inside' doesn't work.

I want to be able to close Firefox and have all cookies and site data removed - but I want to keep my history.

Checking the box to do just this in 'Privacy & Security' will delete cookies when I close Firefox - but all the site data remains. Under 'History' I have 'use custom settings' enabled, as well as 'remember browsing and download history'. I've tried various permutations of this, but can't get it to do what Firefox says it will.

Being able to do this is one of the main reason I want to use Firefox, but it doesn't seem to work. I have to manually delete both cookies and site data.

Any suggestions to try to delete cookies and site data when Firefox closes, but remember history?

When I type in the main firefox pane I sometimes get the search bar popping, cf the discussions 4 years ago. No idea why, I haven't added any addons. Maddening. It's not doing it now or i couldn't have sent this.

I wonder why the latest browser does not have a Home Button.It is easier to close the blank browser with the Home Button.Closing the blank browser helps the system restart smoothly in the next session.

The menu in selected websites do not show typical icons. I only see words and they are in large font; the words run over each other. (Please see attached screenshot for one website.) This issue renders functionality of the website inoperable. This issue happens to about 40-50% of the websites I interact with.

For the same website in Chrome, this issue does not occur.

How to fix this in Firefox? Thank you.

Amazon.com works on Firefox on my second desktop computer and on my iPhone. It does not work properly on my primary desktop, this one It does work on my desktop using Edge. Everything in Amazon.com works on this desktop except I cannot view my previous orders, the link in the upper right corner ""returns and orders." It begins to load but the orders do not load. I cannot see any of them.

I uninstalled Firefox, ran Ccleaner to clean the registry, then it's Health feature, I probably should have restarted after doing that.

I installed a new download of Firefox twice; it fails.

Idiot question but when I select a pdf file from a web page it goes into the built in pdf viewer fine and displays the document. However, I can't, for the life of me, find out how to return to the original web page and continue!
