Hi, With Firefox 81.0.2 64-bit running on Windows 7, I can't logout from my account on a very specific site. If I delete the 2 cookies the site wrote on my computer, I'm then presented with the logon window and I'm able to login again but not logout until I delete the 2 fresh cookies the site just put on my computer during the new session. Should I log under a private window, nothing being written to my computer, log out is always possible. I'm also able to log out from my current session with an older version of firefox (50.1.0). This also close the session opened under Firefox 81. At the moment, only one site is behaving like this. I first asked the support of this site. Here's its reply: <<That is an interesting problem you have there! It might be that your session wasn't properly removed from our server but I know that we restarted our webserver 3 days ago, so that should have resolved itself if that was the problem. I don't have any other suggestions, but if a private window works, this suggests an issue with your cookie management of the browser.>>

A problémám a következő: beállitottam magamnak 1 mesterjelszót ami minden további probléma nélkül működött is viszont mikor pár hónapig nem használtam a gépemet azt azt követő újra használatkor már nem fogadta el a mesterjelszavamat.Próbáltam mar resetelni is de az önök által megadott "link" nem működik,viszont nem is resetelni inkább csak kikapcsolni szeretném.Ha az segit le tudom irni a jelszavat amit megadtam . When viewing a PDF document in firefox using PDF.js, I hit Ctrl+F to open a search dialog. Firefox's own search bar appears at the bottom of my screen. However, I want not Firefox's native search bar, but the PDF.js search tool. Firefox's search bar cannot search the entire PDF document. Instead, it searches only the currently viewed page or two.

I think this is a bug, and I would welcome any ideas or workarounds. Please let me know if I should post a bug report somewhere else. A cursory internet search didn't reveal any others reporting the same problem.

Can anyone advise me why I can't see the Evernote extension on my tool bar? or anywhere for that matter.

When I look at the add ons/ extensuons list, it is there but it no longer appears and therefore I can't clip to Evernote which is my standard go-to way of keeping things quickly.

I have tried removing and reinstalling several times but it makes no difference.

Help please?

Hi, in the last few versions of Firefox, every time I open a private window, I get the private browser splash page and I can see that the main Address/Search bar is in focus and I even see the cursor blinking (and it says search with Google or enter an address as usual).

However if I try to type anything nothing happens. I have to click out of the search bar and click it again and only then can I type in the bar.

This only happens when I open a new private window. If I make a new private tab, the bar gets focus and I can type normally. It's only on the first open of a new window where I can't type anything in it initially.

CNN videos no longer play on Firefox. This has started in the last week or so.

I'm using Mac OS 10.12.6.

No problems with YouTube or any other sites I visit that have videos.

So I've found that Firefox doesn't seem to detect my headset microphone if it's plugged in while Firefox is already running. Going into a Google Meet meeting, it asks me if I want to allow the use of my microphone, and only shows a device that was plugged in already (a Rift S headset microphone) - unplugging, replugging, and refreshing the page all have no effect.

If I close down and restart Firefox completely with the headset plugged in, it works.

After searching, apparently there was a similar bug that appeared around Firefox 36 (I think?) that was fixed soon after - In any case, it seems to have reared its head again.

The reason I write you, is because I have a weird situation:

In my work I develop web sites. Then, I have a certain pages that uses Crystal Reports. Recently, I use the Mozilla Firefox to use that web site.

All was fine, but weeks ago, a user tolds me, that when download a pdf file from the website, the extension of that file is not PDF.

I try to update the browser to the new version, but dosent´t work. Then I had to download again Mozilla Firefox, and then finally works.

Then the download works perfectly...but then the user told me again that the issue appears.

I check again, and I see when there is an update in the browser, tha file extension is changed.

My question is: Is there a form to avoid or solve that issue? The equipment is a MAC. That issue only appears in the MAC and in Firefox (in other browsers and in Windows works fine).

If it helps something, that PDF file is downloaded by Crystal Reports.

If ii'm on a page and scroll down, and i refresh, the page goes automaticly up. Chrome or IE or Edge doesnt work like this.

Looking for setting for opening links in same window , new window, etc. i got 2,383 entries to this simple question. sad to bother human w/ this, but unable to find.

I just downloaded the most recent Firefox upgrade. Now my blue light filter will not work with it. I have used a strong filter and I can barely look at the screen without it. I have Safari and it still works with that. Anyone know if it is fixable?
