How do I get my New Tab page to show Top Sites again? After update it shows blank page.

Since the update Top Sites has not been showing up when I open a new tab. I did what other users have done (Uninstalling and installing Firefox) but that doesn't work. How do I fix this? All settings are accurate, there is nowhere in the settings to choose what shows up in a new tab.
firefox quantum: shows letters/type only as AAAAAAAAAAAA. How to fix this?

Is Firefox 60 incompatible with VideoDownloadHelper 7.3 now for some reason?? It continuously refuses to function, and continuosly redirects me to get a companion app. that i already have, every time I try to use it to cvapture a video file, it does not do so, and sends me back to the companion app. page. I don't understand how many times it wants me to add the companion app., but I am starting to wonder if it is either broken, or that Firefox has decided, once again, to make a online video downloader incompatible with their browser?? So, can you use VideoDownloadHelper with Firefox now, or do I need to find an alternative, and wait for you to make that incompatible?? Please clarify, and thanks in advance!!
