When I open Firefox, the whole page is transposed a quarter of the scree to the righ, so that I can't access the scroll bar; Firefox works OK in safe mode.

When I open Firefox to access the WWW, the whole firefox page displaces a quarter of the screen to the right, so that the scroll bar is off the screen. The left quarter of the screen is blank grey. Firefox works fine in safe mode. All antivirus etc. stuff is up to date and scans show no problems. Everything else is OK, including Internet Explorer.

When I click to email an article from any website, the system locks and then it seems to repeat itself multiple times like it is trying to access outlook but can't. I finally have to ctrl-alt-del and close each individual window which, could be forty + before I can get it stopped. This happens in IE as well.

I have updated to Firefox 6 on OS Vista; since then I can't play YouTube videos, operate Skype or Real Player. How do I fix the problem successfully?

YouTube videos seem to load for approximately a second before stopping... and then there is no progress at all. After upgrading to Firefox 6, I received a message saying that it is not compatible with Skype and Real Player (?) and that certain updates could therefore not be performed.

With all due respect, what good is it to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox if popular applications like YouTube and Skype can't operate anymore? I desperately need to solve the problem - if there is no solution other than 'downgrading' to a previous version of Firefox, which version would that be?

Thank you for your time and dedication in sourcing a solution in this regard.

cant read right hand side of screen as whole page is of set to right. ie ok only fire fox is problem.have uninstalled and reinstalled but still problem
