The firefox beta channel still only has https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/ version 44.0b9

I am running the latest beta version (45.0b1) and whenever i close out of firefox the search bar is missing and i have to go into the customization menu and add it back to my menu bar. All my bookmarks remain, and all the changes i initially made to the menu are there, but the search bar keeps getting removed. When i updated to the latest beta version everything was fine. Now all of a sudden my search bar disappears every time i open a new session.

I prefer my own system that I have been using for years. I definitely do not want records of deleted files sitting there in Smart Views. Once deleted, I want them to stay gone. Who's idea was this to foist this program off onto people any way? Shades of the Microsoft 10 fiasco..... What do I have to do to take Smart Views off of my computer, not hidden -- gone?

When visiting a website like mls.ca for example I am unable to click or type in the text box to select a location. The hand appears when hovering over the text box but the cursor fails to show, the click is ignored.

I removed Firefox using Revo uninstaller to ensure all data was removed. Surprise, surprise, on re-installing everything I had before was back including this issue.

It works fine in Opera.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Not too sure how to describe this, but ever since I got my new laptop a week or two ago, this has been driving me crazy. Once every hour or two, my FIrefox browser will slowly fade into view, with only part of the UI visible. YOu can see what happens by comparing these two screenshots: paulrittman.com/Fading.png

When the UI is slowly fading, I can run my cursor over the blank parts, and they will become visible when the cursor runs over them.

I think this is in some way connected with either Windows 10, my i7 quad core chip, or my graphics (Intel Integrated graphics 530 or 520, I forget). I never saw this before I got my new laptop.

WHat I have tried: pretty much everything. Running FF with addons disabled; new versions of FF (38 ESR, beta, 32 & 64 bit, FDE; e10s enabled & disabled). I am fairly certain that it is not a profile issue, as i installed a new profile when I got my laptop, bringing over only bookmarks and passwords. A new profile with FDE and I saw it within a few minutes of installing all my addons into that profile.

This is not cheap hardware--the graphics is not the best, but it still should be pretty good. I did install a new graphics driver that came out late Jan or early Feb---no change.

I normally have all three data selection options selected in all my FF profiles.

Last few days, I have been troubleshooting, and I looked into my addons manager and saw that link titled Experiments. Lo and behold, I was a participant in the A/B testing. I'm not complaining about this; in the past I actually installed a MoCo extension that signed me up for stuff like this.

My concern is that I want to temporarily opt out. I removed the Experiment listed, and then unchecked telemetry, because that was mentioned in the experiment.

My question: by removing the Experiment, and unchecking telemetry, have I unsubscribed from participating from any further experiments?

Again, I don't have a problem with this--I normally have telemetry checked--its just that I want to reduce all the factors that might be inducing a problem with my browser.

Firefox 45.0b3 doesnt show embedded youtube videos on websites. But it shows videos on Youtube website with no problem. It says 'Connection is not secure' for sites like Gizmodo and Slashfilm where embedded youtubes are not showing; But I can see Vimeo videos on those sites.

Embedded youtube videos are playing on Google Chrome and Safari.

Please give me some solution to fix this problem. Thanks in advance, Jay

I've been using a popular complete Firefox theme called FT DeepDark for more than a year without any problems, but since the update to Firefox 45 I can't find a way how to enable it. It is listed in my addons list but there isn't any disable/enable button by it, unlike at other themes. Uninstalling (with a restart each time I was prompted to) and trying various newest versions of the addon from the beta-compatible version list didn't help. Other, simple themes, work just fine.

I've contacted the author of the theme but he advised me to try Mozilla support communities, because the theme seems to work for everyone else because nobody has reported this problem so far. Disabling all addons and enabling only the theme didn't help and neither did disabling hardware acceleration. I also haven't changed anything in my settings or addons after or shortly before the 44 - 45 beta upgrade, which introduced the issue. I've even tried uninstalling Firefox and getting a 64bit version this time, but it didn't help me either.

I'm on the newest Firefox Beta 45 version since it released (64bit now), Windows 8 Pro 64bit.

I am running Firefox version 45.0b4 and it will not allow me to use RealPlayer because it is not "signed"! What the heck? They have been around a lot longer than you and every time you "fix" something with a new beta release, you "break" somerhing that was working. I like Firefox, but........

Can anyone help i have Adobe flash player installed in windows 10 I get a error message when i try to open a chat room the flash-wave player has been blocked in Firefox when i got to my plugin check page Adobe flash player in not in the list ?.

I installed the new Firefox for Macintosh version 45.0b10. It freezes (continuous rolling colored ball) when I select under Print menu the pulldown menu for "pdf Preview". Upon making this selection the application freezes and has to be terminated.

When I try to access a certain web page (http://www.cbssports.com/), it loads at first but then just goes blank. I have noticed this problem other times browsing specific cbssports.com addresses as well. The site works fine in Explorer so I know the site is working.

I can not copy and paste in Firefox. Paste option is just disabled as Paste&Search option is also. I tried keyboard shortcuts I tried cut and paste also (it cuts but doesnt paste) I tried in other softwares and it works everywhere else than Firefox I tried to paste to notepad after copying from Firefox and that doesnt work either I tried in Safemode (without any plugins/addons) and still same

This is really annoying as I work online and Firefox is my default browser

Had Firefox 38 or alike and no auto update, updated manually to Firefox.44 and now .45 and on Youtube the sites video player (unzoomed) is much smaller than before and smaller compared to other browsers (look like Chrome when you have just downloaded something that shows a bar in the lower part of the screen which makes the player smaller so you can see everything, except the problem is all the time).

It's like the player have shrunk all together because there is a lot of extra space on the sides that should be filled.

Have added pictures that show the problem in Firefox and how it used to look like and how it is in Chrome.

Hope there is some solution to this, thank you for your time.

I downloaded Skype with my Firefox - of which I have the latest version. I also downloaded Skype plug-in.

When I start Skype from the desktop shortcut icon, I wont let me put my password into their (skype) signIn box.

Anybody else having same problem ? Any advice appreciated thanks guys....

Hello, I have had Firefox 44 installed and it has been working fine. This morning I downloaded the update to Firefox 45 and since then it has been crashing repeatedly. So far it's crashed while using gmail twice and Amazon once. I suspect it's to do with the Trusteer Rapport software I have installed for online banking, it's happened before. I immediately downloaded and installed the latest version but it hasn't had any effect. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mark
