I am missing icons and "buttons" on pages?

I have just downloaded the latest version of firefox and think it is awful, how do I get the old version back?

I always have the program Fraps running. This gives the fps for video games. It also displays the fps for videos. The frame rate is displayed in every menu/drop box of firefox 4. Why is firefox now a video source? Don't blame this on fraps. I've never had this problem with previous versions.

I have a bio-metric fingerprint scanner on my laptop that doesn't seem to be compatible with Firefox 4. When i swipe my finger to open an account the following message appears: 

"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program."

This didn't happen before I updated, and if it continues to happen I will swtich browsers.

After I close out of Firefox and later go to reopen it tells me it is open and I have to reboot to use it. Huh?

I recently downloaded VS 4.0 and am having problems. It seems to want to stay open even if I close out. I close the program and later when I want to get back on it tells me it is running. I need to reboot in order to get back on. How can I fix this or how can Mozilla fix this?

When one closes the Firefox browser in 3.xx versions, if the "warn me about closing multiple tabs" button is enabled, option listed as the following question: "Do want to save this session?" would be given as "yes" or "no". This provided the convenience of opening the browser with all the original tabs from the last session: a VERY usable option. It is nowhere to be found with 4.xx versions. If it was removed please re-install with the next upgrade release. If its still available, tell me how to enable it. Reese
