Firefox automatically updated itself to version 3.6.7 on even though it is not out yet as a stable release. The about page says it's version 3.6.7 without any mention of "beta" anywhere.

Firefox automatically updated itself to version 3.6.7 even though it is not out as a stable release. The about page says it is version 3.6.7 without any mention of "beta" anywhere. What should I do? Reinstall the stable release or wait until the next automatic update?

I install the add-on and restart Firefox, but it still doesn't install.

Trend Micro RUBotted.exe reports the above. The recommended scan, Trend Micro House Call, completes in 2:40 minutes and does not find a bot on my system. I have done the above action twice, (reading and opening release note fixes) and both times the same identical warnings appeared. My system appears to be clean. However, the RUBotted.exe program is designed to flag bot-like behavior, and I think this finding is correct, and not a false-positive. This only happens when this page is opened, and I therefore think there is an embedded link that cannot be seen, and is run when this page is opened. I did update to version 3.6.7, but scanned the system before and after I updated to 3.6.7. Results are identical.

zzxc: right I shall type all this again. I was running 3.6.6 and then up pops box offering 3.6.7 so I begin to download and it finishes but then tells me didn't work 'cos I still have 3.6.6 installed. so I uninstall 3.6.6 and attempt to install 3.6.7 but

Trouble is I am now so tired and so paranoid and you inform me Adobe's at risk and Java's at risk and tried what you said wiht adobe and getting you yourselves blocking what you want me to do with adobe I don't know wherer I am. Your Mozilla/Firefox start page does nothing, just sits there, I clicked everything in sight n nuttin happend which I remember from before, if that page don't work what is a person to do???

I have reloaded, unloaded, disabled all other plugins and add ons etc, etc. I can get it to sort of work by loading Flash 10.0.12.36

Although the original art is not mine, I still worked on that wallpaper and that person just took it and used it for his own purposes. If he/she asked it would've been way better but this is like stealing. My question is: can those personas, please, be deleted or something like that?

Any idea why clipboard contents copied from a web page in Firefox, would not paste into Microsoft Works? I can paste to Notepad or Wordpad, but if I try to paste to Microsoft Works, the Microsoft program shuts down every time. I can, however, paste from IE to Microsoft Works, so it seems to be a Firefox setting somewhere, but I can't figure out where.
