How can I display my "Links" in foxfire like I did in internet explorer, ie a separate line at the top

When i click on a link within the site it comes up with the following message "page isn`t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be solved by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Some webpages are a large mix of gibberish character's.
