1. Question

I upgraded to the new version "4" and it will not load any websites..."unable to locate server" is all i get and cannot figure out the problem ....had to delete and go back to an earlier version which i understand is unsafe...what to do?

I'm thinking about upgrading to FF 4.

I'm now running 3.6.17 but don't want to upgrade unless all my addons will work.

How can i find out if they'll work without upgrading and then finding out that some are incompatible and I have to go back to 3.6.17

I'm running XP Pro SP 3

For folks that are not highly technologically savvy, I suggest you add more instruction on the upload to 4.0 HP. I downloaded the file as suggested and then nothing prompted me to do more.

I have been unable to find any specific info on backward compatibility issues. Asking people to move to a new version without such info being available is unrealistic.

OK; 3 times I have upgraded from Firefox 3.6 to version 4. Every time when I goto the page http://nzbmatrix.com/index.php

the column headed 'name' is foreshortened and I have to revert back to Firefox 3.6 to resolve the problem

I am not doing this for teenagers. I am doing this for personal accountability and transparency. Please no lectures, I just want a simple answer. Can the private browsing feature be removed? If so, how?

i want to see only topic of tabs but i always open more than 50 tabs. so i couldn't see detail of each tab when open new tools that show full windows.

and one more question when firefox 4 is running it use amount of ram more than firefox 3.6 or not ? if more.... how much ram that this program want to work more. if my com are not really fast. firefox 3.6 is the better way or not

Downloaded new Foxfire 4.0 at your request. Hate it. Don't want to "customize" or spend lots of time "selecting". Want my old 3.6 back! How to get it?????

   Do I understand correctly?  Will you be discontinuing 3.6.  If so, I will find another and cancel Foxfire altogether!

I have FF (ver 3.6.17) open and when I click on the "+" on the far right most tab to open a new tab (the tool tip even says "Open a new tab"), nothing happens. I click on File, New Tab and nothing happens. I opened up a new browser window, clicked on the tab next to the currently opened tab and nothing happens. I've clicked Tools, Clear Recent History, Everything. I've restarted the PC. Nothing seems to work. This only started being a problem a couple days ago. Any idea what could be wrong?

Then there are seven pages of empty grey squares ( where the images should be ) and scrolling down to the bottom there is a button which has `show more results` written on it, this happens every time I do an image search. I have done the same search using `internet explorer` and there is no problem finding thousands of pages of images.

Once again, my address bar had vanished. This time, the option is still checked to display it, and turning it off and on again does nothing. The help pages suggest going into Safe Mode to fix this, but the .exe is not in my Mozilla folder. I tried searching for it using Start>Search, but got nothing. At the same time this happened, all my buttons (default and custom) were removed from my menu bars and returned to the customise window. What can I do please? TIA

When viewing forums the cursor placed over the thread title would let me see the first sentence in the thread, now it is just a small blank box........any ideas?? Thx
