I'm trying to have Firefox remember a password to a website I initially marked "never ask", but I cannot remove it from the "exceptions" area because nothing shows in the exceptions area. can this be resolved?
Also, I am unable to edit passwords in the saved passwords area. Where are saved passwords edited?
If I try to change the link manually, it just resets back to whatever page it chose to link to.
Just as I have check the window that ask if I want the password kept we have done the same with FB and Youtube. For what reason our log in isn't being kept.
when in a new window itry to go to some site, i can't do nothing, i'm imobilized, and i must wait a lot of time before to have the page

My browser updated automatically, and I lost all my addons. I tried to installed them, and it shows the download bar complete. But when I go to extensions tab under add ons manager to enable it. The download bar is at zero. I have tried to restart the PC, restart the broswer. I even deleted the extensions under troubleshooting information/show profile folder as state in one of the help forums.
The addons that I want to reinstall are Adblock plus, VLC context menu, and Location Guard. Windows 8 64 bit, Firefox 36.0.4

Hi, I been having this issues with FF for months now, had to switch to Google Chrome
Pages takes a while to load, transferring data, waiting for website, connecting, while in Google Chrome and other browsers it connect to websites and load pages a lot faster
for the past few months that I have had this issues I tried Resting or installing a fresh copy of FireFox (with new profile), tried to run it without any add-ons, reinstalled windows several times (win7, 8.1, and Win 10 Technical preview "all 64bit") and I even bought a new internet router during that time
tried pipelining configuration in "about:config" nothing fixed the issues, and not certain websites but all the websites I visit, and I finally thought about finding help here because I prefer using FireFox, thank you in advance.

When scrolling down through Google+ news feed, without any noticeable change or prompting, the viewing area is jumped back to the top of the news feed, where you have to scroll back down to the point where you were reading. Aside from disrupting reading, there is no other effect.
This issue does not present itself on Chrome or IE.

I tried setting master password yet appeared that submit or accept was greyed and it gave no confirmation of setting it. Did not use PC for over a week (out of town for funeral) afterwards and came back to find it now required a master and had no idea what I had used the day I tried setting it. I backed up my bookmarks and now wonder if I install a new version if importing those will require the master password I don't know.
I suggest that the master password set should confirm that it was set. I had "cancelled" on that screen so assumed no password was in place. Tough lesson to learn if I have to reset and lose all passwords.

I'm successfully running Windows XP3 with PCMatic and have have had no problems for Six months or so, but this morning when I went to search for something on the net, my Firefox 'short cut' didn't work, telling me it couldn't find firefox.exe... and neither could I ... IE8 and Chrome also on the system...... talk about eliminating the competition ;-) ??? PS... have since reinstalled Firefox 36...so, I'm not sure what use the 'share' data will be...
