It doesn't matter what website I am on. Every 5 seconds or so the color changes on the top blue bar. I can be in the middle of typing something (like this) and then it stops like it is inactive. I have to click on the page to start typing again.

Firefox will not allow me to click on more than one link in a sequence. After one click, I am forced to switch to another active application before returning to Firefox and clicking on another link. I have seen this problem posted by others, but I can't find an answer by Mozilla. Since this problem makes Firefox virtually unusable (version 3.6.8) I would hope that Mozilla would offer an answer ASAP. Until then, I'm stuck with Explorer.

As i understand it, there should be an internet explorer folder under bookmarks, but it's not there and nothing else is being imported either. Any tips?

For years, the presentation by Ancestry.com has been static, but after the ver 3.6.8 update, the presentation is changed (larger - harder to use). When I check the same website using IE8, it looks just like it always looked. I "cleared my cache" per Firefox FAQ - but nothing changed. For years I have preferred Firefox, but I am going to switch back to IE8 to overcome the presentation problem.

Every time I open Firefox and go to a website, the system routes me through the university library's any where access. I use zotero sometimes for research. I do not wish to be routed through the university's library system when I am doing personal stuff.
