Lost all bookmarks on upgrade from 3.5 to 3.6. no helpful responses in forum

I have lost years of bookmarks upon upgrading from 3.5 to 3.6. None of the suggested solutions on forum have helped and in fact I don't see any responses from Mozilla ju… (閱讀更多)

I have lost years of bookmarks upon upgrading from 3.5 to 3.6. None of the suggested solutions on forum have helped and in fact I don't see any responses from Mozilla just other users. I've reinstalled 3.5 as some other users said that reinstated their bookmarks but it did no good with mine. What's up Mozilla? Are you going to leave us all hanging out to dry without a fix to your really bad mistake. Help your users or you are going to lose many.

3.6 and 3.5.10 are terrible. How do I return to 3.5.9?

I am having to run v3.5.10 because even now with latest 3.6 that version - every 30 seconds or so I hear a process open and then close. Can't track it down even in task manager - too brief but it's insistent! So stuck having to use 3.5

I have to use V3.5.10 despite wanting to run 3.6 (just updated to 3.6.6 too). However when I run 3.6 I hear thru my sounds set up a process open briefly and then close every 30 seconds or so - it's very regular and insistent and I'd like to know what it is and why. It's too brief to spot in Task manager processes listing. This did happen once under 3.5 I seem to recall but was cured when it upgraded.

When I open "Preferences" dialog and try to edit any options which are represented with checkboxes or radio buttons when I point mouse at them the text becomes the same color as the background so you can't read it. First I thought it had something to do with my gtk theme settings but other gtk programs show their dialogs fine, so it must be a firefox issue.

A company calling itself Infofax has invaded my computer, replaced my opening page, which was AOL Aim with theirs , stolen all the names and addresses in my yahoo account and emailed them a request for friends in my name. I have written them and so far no relief. I want them removed from my computer and I don't firefox to open with their page , please help

I used to be able to edit web pages in Netscape and upload them via WS_FTPLE but latest version doesn't seem to be able to. Internet says Firefox (which we've been using for quite some time) is supposed to be "equivalent/better" than Netscape so looked for, and can't find, where and how to edit web pages so I can upload them via WS_FTPLE. Please could you advise if this is possible and where/how to do it? Many thanks.
