Just connected to new ISP (Comcast) in FL. Firefox has been my default browser for years. Now, Firefox disappears from my dock after shutoff. Still appears in Applications. Clicking on Firefox in Applications returns it to the dock, but clicking on Firefox in the dock results in connection timeout. Same thing appears to be happening with Safari. Sending and receiving mail OK. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

I use windows 7 Ultimate in my laptop. I was experiencing slowness in starting and using mozilla firefox. I kept on seeing this prompt that said "Learn how to speed it up". I finally decided to follow the prompt and it showed me how to Re-set Firefox. Now however, i cannot access one of my really important downloaded Applications. Please, how do i resolve this?

Firefox Hello : Ringing works fine, but no audio connection. After approx. 30..40 sec Error Message "Something went wrong", no matter whether call is accepted or not. Both PC's are on same LAN ( 10.0.0.2 / 10.0.0.10 ) - is this the problem ? Win XP SP3 + Firefox 35.0b4 beta + Update from 21.12.2014 Many thanks in advance !!

I do not see any drop down menus on Firefox for Win 7 that would all me to install chromecast extension into the browser itself to cast content using my chromecast device. Appears to be only for chrome browser? maybe? any suggestions on the procedures to do it if they exist?

I cannot remove an extension "SoundFrost 3.6.2" this appeared as from Saturday 27th of December and it plays music automatically and every time i open Firefox, it is redirecting my browser to chat sites and porn sites. I did not download anything nor have i installed any new programs. I did try to remove this extension, but it would not allow me to uninstall this extension. Please Help! Thank You

Consulted your FAQs; used "Customize" 1. Will not let me DELETE the hated "ebay" button at the far right of my tool bar. I HATE ebay. Do not EVER want to even see the term "ebay" for the rest of my life! How do I remove the hated "ebay" button? 2. The "Bookmarks Toolbar" is useless and cannot be modified apparently. Tried the "Customize" routine. Some of these things are so OLD and useless they are now irritating to view continually so I keep the toolbar hidden. So, your toolbar is quite useless. How do I modify the toolbar? Delete all the history? Pretty stupid if that is the case....

Win 8.1 with all updates. Opened my outlook.com email 12/29/2014. I forward some lengthy emails with links to exterior news articles. The first one, ( www.joemiller.us ), to forward asked if I would like to use an 'updated Forward' (Don't remember specific message) so I tried it. Everything went OK for the first few article links and then I encountered multiple pages of blanks followed by the rest of the email. I tried to get rid of the blanks to no avail so I cancelled the email Forward. I opened the SAME email from my inbox and tried to find the place to go back to the 'old' method for forwarding - no such luck. Then the email disappeared! I looked for it in the inbox, draft and deleted folders to no avail. I looked in the Sent folder - NO emails at ALL from joemiller.us - So, it looks as if my messages from joemiller.us were ALL deleted. To summarize, I would like to go back to the 'original' version of 'Forward'. Other than this, I have been VERY pleased with Firefox. My IE would give me messages about reattaching multiple times per day and Firefox only reattaches maybe once a week or less!

I have attached a sceen shot of the issue. This version of Firefox is 35. I have had this issue since version 32. If you will look at the screen shot and in the upper right hand corner where the min/max/x are suppose to be, They are not, so where are they? That are is solid black. Pressing CTRL and F5 together does nothing.

On my previous computer, I imported my favorites/bookmarks from Google Chrome into Firefox. I accessed them using an "Imported from Google Chrome" folder on my Firefox bookmarks bar, and this setup worked perfectly.

Now I have a new computer, and I would like to export these favorites/bookmarks (previously imported from Chrome) to my new P.C. I've tried the import/export option, copying/pasting to an external hard drive, and dragging to an E.H.D., but nothing works. Any ideas on how to transfer these imported Chrome favorites to my new P.C.?

I have been getting notifications of a new release of Firefox. I think I've been on the beta test user list and I don't want to be on that list anymore. I'm not active enough to be of any use to you folks. Thanks for a great product.

A few updates ago, for Firefox, made it so that I cannot edit my bookmarks toolbar. I can't delete anything on them, but I can add them and move them if I open up the sidebar. I can't move them around any other way. Instead of a drop box asking for what I want to do, like normal, whenever I right click a bookmark a little white square pops up over the bookmark instead and won't let me do anything.

I just installed the latest Mozilla update and it did not fix the issue. I tried the following:

1) Remove all extensions, add ons, themes and other things. Restart Firefox. 2) Clear cache of computer 3) Updated

The only thing I haven't done is reinstall, because I don't want to lose my bookmarks, especially those in the quick access toolbar (the one I can't edit).

I uploaded an image of what it does. I circled the box in red.

Hello,My Name Is Anjas Apriadi..I Encountered These Problems Recently With Mozilla,Why when i downloaded the file with firefox , ok...it finished,but when i click "open containing folder" the file didn't showed up ?!!!!

i have tried removing hardware acceleration, restarted in safe mode and returned to original theme but none of these options are helping. It simply shows a black region but when i press in the corner of minimize position it is working, dont know why it is happening. I have also updated the browser but eve that is not removing it.

Hello. Recently I got a strange issue in my history sidebar on Firefox Ver. 35 beta.

Today I noticed I have a "(no title)" folder on the history sidebar when I set the sort view to date and site. I tried to delete it by clicking on delete and on forget about this site but it doesn't gets removed.

I noticed I had this entry in 4 different dates which are in today's history, in last 7 days history, in this month history and on November's history. The rest of the days/months doesn't have such entry.

I know it has to do with the places.sqlite file since I removed it (previous backup of my profile folder). Obviously the history all of it disappeared (my bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar weren't affected) and the empty history only showed the homepage I have set for Firefox to open when I run the browser.

I really don't know what triggers this behavior. Other than that everything is working normally. No crashes, no slowdowns, no nothing. Just the "(no title)" issue.

As you can see on the screenshot, that entry only has the copy, delete and forget about this site options available, the rest are grayed out, as in not available.

I thought in ask because I was unable to remove that entry. And I don't want to lose my whole history because I have a lot of sites I visit there.

Maybe adding a way for this kind of entries to be removed would be a nice solution.
