I'm also running Firefox beta, which shares the same file. Firefox 30 beta works fine, as does Aurora 31. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No help there. Bookmarks are fine, as are extension and so forth. Only losing passwords.

Since Firefox update 31, I cannot reply to incoming emails. When I try to send an email or reply to one I get this message: Unable to Load Null Status: 404. I use Verizon webmail and they say it's a Firefox problem. Using Mac Mini Mac OS-X 10.6.8

We have deployed Firefox across multiple sites in our company. We are looking for a way to disable the "CTRL+J" shortcut that opens the download manager. In fact, for the purpose of the profile that we are using, we do not need the download manager at all.

So far I was able to find a plugin that will allow us to disable the keyboard shortcut (Customizable-Shortcuts by Tim Taubert) which would meet our needs, but it always our preference to use our lockPref profile.

The solution that I tried didn't seem to work (preventing panel shown and toolkit UI) [Preferences below are for purposes of illustration. I am aware that syntax is not correct.]

browser.download.panel.shown=false browser.download.useToolkitUI=false

I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this and if anyone has an idea.

I run a system scan with Advanced System Care and it shows that potentially bad cookeies are not blocked. I block them and and open FF. they staty blocked until I shut down FF and restart. Anyway to keep this list in FF memory?

Until recently, I used to run V30 in french and google.fr as home page This week, V31 suddenly appeard ... in english ! ... and ... home page brings an awful bar/page named OMOGA I can't get rid of ... even through regedit

Can You solve this or I would have to reload V30 and loose my personnal configuration ?

As said in the question, international characters tend to download themselves and be shown in the main text. This might be unwanted for some international users who are rather used to be shown a question mark or unknown character instead, as maybe font downloading may not be wished at all for safety reasons. This is a minor problem, and I only encountered this by seeing the "Indian Rupees" sign replaced by the hindi symbol of it, instead of the familiar "Rs." abbreviation I was used to, but still a reminder to be careful with implementing Unicode.

I've been having no problems so far with Firefox 31.0 Beta Update Channel, however with the latest update (Beta 5) - the Troubleshooting Information page is now completely blank, when it's never been so before. Is there any way to fix this?

Failed attempts to set up sync. Multiple attempts about one year ago also failed many times due to 'apparent' password 'problems'. I gave up. Now, my attempt to set up sync with my mozilla support account (email address and password) was rejected with the words quoted above. The attempt to create a new account for sync only and with another email address was also rejected with the words quoted above. Both email addresses are valid and of long standing with different email providers. The sync shall be between to laptops. What is the solution to this conundrum? Thanks in advance for you time and help!!!!

Every time I go on Firefox, I always get advertisements of Ads by MediaAds. It's annoying and I know there is a way to uninstall it but I don't know how. I can't find it on the programs. Please help. Thanks.

Youtube's giving be the following error for the past couple of days "An error occurred, please try again later."

Same thing in Opera too. But Chrome and Internet Explorer is playing fine.

I tried safe mode, resetting, but none worked. Flash plugin is also updated to the latest version.

Vimeo is working flawlessly in Firefox wonder what's going on with YT.

I have my privacy settings screwed down as tight as I can. Always use privacy. Never remember history. But it does! When I attempt to clear all history it fails. How do I fix this problem?

I am now suspicious that there may be other serious security/privacy issues...

I won't leave my name here, nor any personal details. I know that I have been a strong part of the revolution in deep-structure coding that has taken place since the July 4th 2014 weekend, but I can't get any of my proprietary start-up information out to any useful part of the public lately, because I am too busy "fighting" the technical, personal and psychological equivalent of a WORLD WAR, all by myself, over things supposedly as "simple" (and generally as money-constrained) as the "lack of a cell phone." As if cell phones were the New Holy Grail or something...

Anyhow, the impression I have is that the Revolution (whatever that is) could strongly empower a lot more individuals across many more systems into their own success if only the Larger Powers could learn how to stop being so functionally PARANOIC about each other...we need a standard in the 21st Century for what "objective truth" means on a planetary scale... If we can hold back the Great Chaos that long!

Is there any option to start the firefox the safe mode without opening the firefox i normal mode

In Windows 7 there is an option to start the Firefox in Safe Mode in the Mozilla Firefox Menu

it had a T red/blue button on top right side, all i had to do is select button press that T on top right side and its translated in English it was set to translate in English by default, I've lost my old Firefox i want to know the name of that add on.

We can set mailto to be handled by our gmail or yahoo mail web mail accounts. But I want to set it to hotmail/outlook.com
