I don't want to disable the drop-down menu. Only filling in the URL bar with the rest of a URL once I start typing it.

I would like links I click on to open in a new tab, not the current tab. In the Tools>Options, I have it set to do this. However, since the update to 14.0.1, I can't get it to open in a new tab. This is for all web sites and email. What can I do to change it? Thanks.
Firefox does not send a complete document to printer.

When a new tab is selected the browser pane is blank for several seconds before the page content loads.

In the Edit menu, the Find and Replace function does'nt work right, showing words at random. Can it be because of a wrong downloading ?

Just got an update today (14.0.1) and noticed I've lost my Favorites Icon. Checked in the about:config and that item is set to true. Now what?

I have just updated to the newest version of firefox and now whenever I visit a secure website I am told it is an untrusted connection and have to add an exception to visit it. When viewing the certificate it states it cannot be verified for unknown reasons.
This is happening with all websites including reputable sites like Google or Facebook.
I have tried a few things I found on the web but the posts were all quite old and didn't solve the problem so would appreciate any help I can get

Also, if I make a change with "Customize..." on the Navigation bar, it reverts to the layout I had last in 13.
