I keep getting rerouted to a malicious McAfee Antivirus software page stating my computer has 5 viruses and my Mcafee subscription has expired, etc. I don't have that software & NEVER plan to use it. How do I block the URL from loading? This should be SIMPLE in the Mozilla settings, can't find anything regarding web filters or page blocking.

Hi, I have recently update my Win system with everything including Firefox. And now when I open new tab there is the same Firefox icon like always, but when I it is loading new page then its new X. When it is done with loading it changes to OK icon of the dedicated page. Is this X normal? Thank you

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. I no longer see a preview of photos on Google Photos on the new version of Firefox (122.0.1) in either the main window (see first image), or the file itself (see second image with broken file icon). In the latter I just get a spinning wheel. Do I need to change a setting in Firefox?

Hi, I have account from Many Years on Firefox and I usually when I got New Laptop I just Login in my Account and I retrieved all my Old Bookmarks and Add Ons this Time I got New Laptop and as Usual I Loged in but I got Nothing , I didn't found my Bookmarks or Add ons

I just downloaded the latest Firefox browser, and it asked me to import all of the my bookmarks, but it only grabbed the ones from Chrome. All of my former bookmarks that were saved in the previous Firefox browser are gone! Most of my useful bookmarks were in Firefox. Where are they, and how do I get them back?

I can make one of five possible usernames appear in the earthlink.net login field. I can not get the default login username to be blank when I go to earthlink.net. How do I do this?

FYI, If the username field is blank, firefox will display a drop down list of all five logins and selecting one will fill in both the username and password field. I think this is pretty slick if only I could get the usename field to default to blank when I first go to the earthlink website.

I am trying to use an input type of month but it is not rendering or behaving properly when viewed in the latest browser version.

The example from Mozilla tech site is below and when viewed in Firefox it does not work either. <input type="month" id="start" name="start" />

Is this no longer supported by Firefox?

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

Cannot post a comment to Yahoo lately, "Your comment failed to publish. Retry" I can post if I use Microsoft Edge, I don't want to use Microsoft Edge or another browser to post on Yahoo. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have my bookmarks synced from two accounts on chrome. It worked fine, but now it stopped. My bookmarks toolbar is empty, except for an icon to fullscreen. It acts as if I have all of my bookmarks on there, and I can access them in the menu function. They're just not on the toolbar.

I've already hid/shown the toolbar multiple times, I've rescynced my browser data, I've fiddled with my toolbar settings, but honestly, I'm at a loss. I'm not the best with computers so if there's an obvious answer please let me know. Thank you!
