On new window (`Ctrl-N`) I want the focus to be on the url bar, not the homepage. I believe this is the default behavior if no homepage is set, but I want to set this behavior independent of the homepage setting.

Is there a setting for this?

Is this real? Benne having problems in Firefox can't us the "move to function to file emails. It dfaults to create new. I asked a question in the support page and now I get the email. Firefox options, preferences and settings was edited by Mozinet. First time for this one.

Recently, in the past month or so, I have been having issues with my VPN addon Private Internet Access, my email provider Shortwave, and loading numerous websites. I tried troubleshooting it for a few weeks individually but it took a full Firefox refresh last week to get things working again. And it took only another week for everything to stop working again. The images in my emails are no longer loading (same issue as before), but they load in Gmail and I can download the emails properly, my VPN addon crashes and can't stay logged in same as before, and websites such as Nextdoor (I hate the drama but love the free goods) won't load the items for sale same as before.

I don't want to have to refresh every week, especially since I this is the computer I use for work and the amount of things I have to log back into is insane.

get663.com Loads randomly on the browser. I delete it and it returns on a random basis. Is there a way to prevent it reinstalling? I have to remove it 10-15 times a day. Thanks, Andy W.

The screenshot below shows exactly what happened to me yesterday when I was prompted by your Firefox pop-up window to update as I have done many times before without incident. Two minutes after clicking on the update request a pop-up window came on my screen with what appeared to be from Microsoft Tech dept. It had a warning message that my computer may have been hacked and a phone number that I must call. I had no choice then to call the number as my computer was frozen/locked. In addition, now my Norton software is suggesting I no longer have "internet Security" which would always say '"Firefox secured'"??? please help me understand why my internet is no longer secured by Firefox? Firefox is not asking where save downloaded files. I have the checkbox checked which indicates it should ask every time. I also followed some instructions on here about going to the about:config page and changing a setting to false, but that didn't do anything.

I'm having an issue that seems to Lock up YouTube on Firefox.

I'm trying to get back into using Firefox but I'm having a persistent issue in both FF Mainline and even in FF Beta 119.

If i play a Video on YT then switch tab to do something else then go back to YT it lock up the video window. I do not have this happen on Chrome or Edge.

I have tried refreshing the browser and still have this issue.

I switched to Firefox DE because I wasn't able to install 3rd party extensions. Just now, my middle click isn't working. I can't use the middle click to open/close tabs and to open links in a new tab. I checked my settings, tried a new profile, nothing works except in normal Firefox, the middle mouse does work, but I don't want to switch to that. My middle click also works in Edge and other apps, but please fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.

PS. Please add biometrics to Firefox, like how Google did with Chrome.

I'm trying to reset my Firefox account password. I know my password is correct, because I just signed into my Firefox account with it.

Every time I try to change the password however, it tells me my old password is incorrect. I know it's not incorrect because as stated, I just signed into my account with it.

Not sure exactly how to fix this one, any suggestions welcome.

On twitter, if i middle mouse click on a tweet, it open in a new tab and switch immediately to it, even if the setting is disabled

Middle Mouse clicking on links anywhere else works as it should, it only do it on twitter for some reasons. Shift middle mouse doesn't work either

But clicking on an IMAGE on twitter does work normally.

I recently uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it directly from the microsoft store as it was very slow (probably due to not being updated) and I am sad to see all my bookmarks and important information is gone. Is there any way I can restore it? Thank you in advance.

Adblock Plus icon does not appear in toolbar or overflow menu. Windows 11 latest update and Firefox latest update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adblock with all anti virus and vpn off to no avail.

Built in PDF reader is showing blank and then prompting to close firefox -

Please help I am support a company who are really big on Firefox and love the built in PDF reader feature but recently when they open files they show blank and you ar then requested to close Firefox.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

He has the latest version of Firefox from today I can see there was an update 2 days ago and there where some new features on the reader could this be the reason?
