how can I get the DATE & TIME of a Mozilla Firefox internet search in my history file???

I need to have this info to help document some fraudulent credit card problems and when I had contacted Microsoft.

last year (not sure whenO my firefox crashed and so my grandson put me back on the older Google Chrome which I did not like because I could not get my bookmarks on easily. I have attempted to get back on firefox, and seemed ok at least i got my bookmarks. I also thought I had created a password, but most of the time I can not log in to some sights. My email address is always the same rosehallmanorbj@comcast.net. So my question is, am i actually completely set up in firefox? at one time I thought I created a password to log into firefox but it does not allow me in. Please let me know it I am totally with my account, and if so how do I get a password to log in. Thank you.

I am experiencing an issue with vertical tabs that appears once more than 3 tabs are open. This is happening on the .deb installation of Firefox (version 136.0) across 3 different devices, with different profiles, also when all extensions are disabled. The issue seems to be specific with vertical tabs, as it does not happen with the classical horizontal ones.

The issue: In the vertical tabs sidebar I can move any tab up to any desired position. However, when moving a tab down, the next 2 positions are inaccessible (unless the lowest position in the sidebar is reached in less than 3 steps), it can only be moved to any position lower than that.

Illustration: Assume you had 5 tabs open, named A, B, C, D, and E. And let's assume you wanted to move tab B one position down to be situated between C and D. What I currently have to do to achieve that, is to move B below E (3 positions down: A, C, D, E, B), before I can move back up above D (2 positions up: A, C, B, D, E).

Seeing how tedious that is, I can only assume that it is unintended behavior caused either by a bug, or a setting (if so, which parameter in about:config should I look for?).

Any suggestions to resolve this are appreciated.

This concerns both Privacy/Sec. as well Performance/Connect. : Problem #1: I CANNOT Stay connected to Firefox!! I am running an (refurbished) Older laptop (Win11home). I have ended up having to reset my "Default Browser" each time I change a site?? No matter what I have tried (un- and re-install the software, etc.) I set as default - which currently performs for exactly one click.

Firefox/Mozilla/TB do not even SHOW on the list when trying to set as Default.

The ONLY non-MS product that IS listed is "DuckDuckGo for Firefox". I used to feel comfortable with them, but no longer feel "safe" using them as a relay to you. This is because seemingly no matter what I do, I am still getting 100's of un-asked for emails AND 100's more of phone calls/texts EVERY SINGLE DAY. Yikes!

I take great efforts to fill out every site to exercise my California rights on every site I click on... "no soap". Even that process has become so complicated, that if a "one click" opt-out isn't available - sending emails, etc. that if there isn't a preference option I don't use that site ever again for any reason.

Related Problem #2: I love LOVE your relay for emails/and phone calls... That's NO LONGER available either - WHAT???!!! Worse still, when I follow instructions HERE... go to Settings/Privacy - there isn't even a "Passwords" setting option. The whole catagory is just Gone.

I admit, I am a Senior and not that skilled at computers... but I spend HOURS researching and trying to learn. Since AI was Officially activated... these problems didn't exist.

I am SOoooo tempted to throw the darn thing in the trash... however the State of CA says I MUST have an email to even get a REAL ID. As I interpret the Law... I MUST maintain an email/phone. I live Very Rural can't even get a landline. I don't have a passport and now cannot Fly in my own Country (never intending to even leave the US until I was much more "retired" than I am now, lol) but now I can't even "opt-out" on my birth-state's website either.

Problem #3: Not as severe... but similar problems also exist on my two iOs platforms as well (iPhone/iPad)

I searched this site pretty thoroughly... only ONE person reported a similar problem (Problem #1) and so far there wasn't response after 5 days. Hopefully this post draws the attention of Admin, as I have spoken to other Seniors near me who are experiencing the same types of issues... but appear far more reticent to report.

HELP??!!!

Greetings! My Thunderbird email client recently mysteriously glitched requiring me to affect a repair to the profile. I can now access my email fine, but when I try to email a webpage from inside Firefox, I get and error stating in part: Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded, etc. I have tried what I could find via Google, but some is beyond my technical experience. Short of deleting Firefox entirely, and reinstalling, is there a simple fix that someone can suggest? I have backed up my bookmarks and passwords, along with the current Firefox profile folder, so perhaps uninstalling the program and reinstalling may be the best route to take? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

As a resent change Firefox closes all my open tabs when I exit. That is not what I want. Not sure if it's an update to version 128.13.0esr(64-bit) that is the reason for this issue.

I History I have the settings: - Remember browsing and download history (activated) - Remember search and form history (activated) - Clear history when Firefox closes (deactivated)

I have activated "Confirm before closing multiple tabs" and when I exit I get a notification that Firefox will close all tabs.

Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting somewhere ?

quit firefox on my mac, reopened it and all my account history, passwords, etc were lost. is there any way to recover them? im sure this has been asked many times, but i have been using firefox for 2 years, never had any issue. recently i quit the app on my mac, when i reopened it, absolutely everything was gone. i had a LOT of saved emails and passowords i never backed up, and i reallyyy need them back. i logged back in with the same email i had for my firefox account originally, but absolutely everything is gone, as if ive just made a new account, im just at a loss what can i do? :(
