Hi New Dell Inspiron 15-3000, installed Firefox 100 in new laptop, transfered all files via LAN from old laptop All websites work ok except 2 of the 4 banking websites I use. One site will not accept my login the other will open after putting in my login twice Have gone to "troubleshoot mode" and both sites work , go back to "normal" and they do not work Any clues how to fix this, not to technical please I am not a computer whizz and all children have left home Many thanks Ron Managh

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

I try to install Firefox on a HP Z1 G8 desktop under Windows 11 Pro. The first time I get a warning that a .dll is not available or so (I dont know what this warning is precisely, becaus it pops up for 2 seconds only ) , and firefox is not well installed, reinstalling goes without warning, but still Firefox starts and then stay dead, no sites, no settings. I know the security in this computer is very thight, but other apps install without problem and functions.

Why Firefox cant be installed where other apps can ??????

Hi,Why is download showing up on nearly all sites I go to & HOW do I get rid of it permantently I can close it by hitting the X beside the Download,but it Should not be there Thanks Darryl

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. Firefox wasn't working well on a seldom-used laptop, and the update to 100.0.1 didn't go quite right, so I deleted the old version and (using the odious Edge) tried downloading a fresh copy of the software.

But then I get a message from "7-ZIP" that reads "Can not create temp folder archive"

I'm stuck. Advice?

Dear All:

Suddenly FF starts but shows only a new tab without any content. I can fill in a URL but no reaction. Settings doesn't open. Close tab through X Restart FF. no new tab but message: FF is already running but is not responding. The old FF process must be closed to open in a new window. Click to close. a new empty tab pops up without starting FF manually. Close through X Restart brings the same message as above - no window. Have to end FF in Task Manager.

Uninstalled and reinstalled three times - no change.

I'm using Windows 10 and Avast One, Firewall checked - is open for FF.

The bar that contained those items disappeared in Firefox after the update to 110 I believe. I don't know how to get it back, I've searched settings. The bookmarks and all the data appear to still be there. It's been there since, I think, version .9 something. I updated to windows 10 from windows 7 about 3 months back. I noticed the change immediately. I don't even know what the bar is called. I still have my windows 7 machine since I am still trying to resolve problem with windows 10 and I'm even thinking of going back to window 7. It did the update to 109 without a problem.

HELP!!

It is probably something simple by windows is more a game machine to me. I learned computers on a GE-645 to give you an idea of how old I am.

This is a very bizarre problem. Basically I can't install any Firefox addon neither on my desktop OR may laptop. I noticed this issue just couple of days ago. When I try to install any addon normally, from a link, it tells me that the addon can't be installed because the file is corrupt. Tried several addons, all same problem. On my desktop AND on my laptop. On my desktop I'm running ver. 103, but on my laptop I still had ver. 102.1, so there is no Firefox update issue. When I try to install addon from xpi file, it tells me that I have no permission to open that file and that's it. I tried to take ownership of that file but it didn't solve the issue I tried to disable my AV program, but it didn't do anything. On my laptop, I tried to refresh FF, no help. I tried to start FF in safe mode, same problem. I created new profile, same issue. Eventually, I totally uninstalled FF, removing program itself, removing Appdata folder and even registry entry. Installed fresh copy of FF, same problem exists. Then, I noticed one thing. When I tried to sync fresh FF installation on my laptop, it synced everything, EXCEPT for addons. So, something is preventing me doing anything regarding addons. Themes install just fine. I've struggling with this problem since yesterday and at this point I totally ran out of any fresh ideas how to solve this issue, thus posting here. I'll appreciate any fresh idea as what to do next. Hi, I have some issue on the new updates on Version 101.0.1 (64 bit) Firefox auto-download all my files even when I am in view mode. Is there a way to disable this feature?

For some reason, Firefox just stopped working yesterday. The only way I could get it to work again was to uninstall and reinstall (the refresh option did not work). However, now I've lost all my bookmarks, passwords and customization. I don't care about the customization and losing the bookmarks is an annoyance, but I'd REALLY like to get my passwords back. The installation created a folder of Old Firefox data, but when I open the folders that I think might be helpful, like bookmarkbackups, they are empty. Is there anywhere else I can look where these might have been saved? I did not have a Mozilla account so no profile until now which I just set up in order to access the forum. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am trying to find version 120 for Linux. I haven't been able to find specific versions on the website and it seems to make me go in circles. I need the full install and the rpm for 120. I appreciate any help.
