When trying to update Firefox on my Linux Mint system, I saw this in settings:

Updates disabled by your system administrator. Well, I am the administrator. I checked and I have administrator privilege, and I would not have disabled updates. How to I convey that to Firefox so I can update my browser?

Windvine Content Description Module updated - problem fixed. I had alternately disabled both Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codex, closed and restarted FireFox with no success. This AM, I updated Windvine, closed and reopened FireFox. Amazon Prime video now works very well. Thanks for your trouble shooting tips ! OS Monterey 12.7 FireFox 118.0.2 PS: FF Tab Manager has returned speedy browsing. Horray !

Hi, I use google chrome for work and firefox for personal use. I did not want firefox to import my bookmarks from Googe Chrome but somehow it did. Do I have to remove these bookmarks one at a time? And how do I prevent this from happening again?

When I try to watch a movie (on website flixhq.to) it gives me error code 232011 and then i change the server my subtitles don't work. I tried different websites but the same thing happens. I've done all the troubleshoot methods possible. I only have this problem on my laptop, when i use this website on my phone it works properly. I've never had a problem with this website before ,this all started beginning of this month. Someone please help me fix this!

Unable to log in to Quora from GMail notifications on Firefox. While I can log in directly to Quora from Firefox, when I click on notification received on G Mail, I inevitably get the message, "something went wrong. Try again later" I need to get to Quora directly from G Mail. Please help.

Hello So to make long story short, since last 3 updates to Firefox i cant log in to my online bak account ,and yeah i can log to it on Chrome, windows shit show browser... so well .. can You fix it ? Or shall i just switch browser ? As everything have been working fine before, and i have been happy using You www browser till now...acctualy till i install Firefox update :P

Please save me advices like : - did you try reset you PC ? - did you delete you cookies ? - did you reinstall you windows 7/10/11 - did you clean you keyboard - what's it's you PC hardware condition ? - did You take shower today ? - did you check what's You gender ? - did you reinstall Firefox ?

I recently changed computers. Even though my website favourites were copied to the new computer, I have noticed some are missing. Is it possible to print out the favourites from my old computer so that I can compare the two lists? I still have the old computer.

There is an organizational website https://www.ura.go.ug/ After login, it presents the Image below, yet my Mozilla Firefox Browser is up-to-date. I do not get the same messages when I use other browsers like Chrome or Ms Edge. This has been like this ever since the updates beyond Firefox version 78.

When I select an item in an amazon page I get script that is overlay on the page. Websites and their pages slow way down when I have Malwarebytes Browser Guard turned on. This only started a couple of months ago, I had no problems before then. Could this be an issue with the Malwarebytes browser guard or a Firefox update? Thanks for any help you can be, Larry

New to me Surface3 pro tablet. Have FF on my desktop, want it on the tablet and synced with the desktop. Download and install were fine up until i went to log in on the tablet. I mis spelled the email address and did not notice until the codes never arrived. I cant find a way to get FF to "forget" what i entered. I uninstalled hoping that would do it and deleted the FF old data file it saved on the screen, but no matter what i do it keeps coming back to the old misspelled entry and does not let me log out or change it.
