Before the recent 1-2 updates, pdfs,pictures and .torrent meta files used to get saved in temp folder which I LOVED very much. Recently these are getting save in my download folder instead of saving in the temp folder.

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

Please assist me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Websites say that my Javascript is disabled, but I already checked on the about:config website and the javascript.enabled is set to true. What do I do so these websites accept that my Javascript is enabled?

So, my old computer recently broke, but I luckily recovered all my files. I was re-downloading Firefox onto this computer, but my bookmarks and add-ons and stuff won't sync. When I searched for the solution to this, I saw someone having a similar-ish problem (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1403774#answer-1563248), but they just said they had to wait awhile for it to sync. Now, I have a couple questions that I can't seem to get the answer to:

1. How long does it take to sync my data? How long did that person have to wait?

2. What if it never syncs and that person just got lucky? Is there some sort of alternate way to fix this faster?

I'd really appreciate help on this topic, but I'm not the best with computers. If anyone has had this problem, and figured it out, please let me know! I had a lot of bookmarks and a good amount of add-ons, I really would like to not lose those.

I experience constant tab crashes a couple of days now. I tried safe-mode and re-installing the browser. But the crashes still persists. This only happens with firefox.

A recent set of system updates appears to have made most website videos not play in Firefox.

When I inspect the Developer Tools - > Console tab the most detail Firefox gives are an error line similar to: Media resource URL could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_METADATA_ERR (0x806e0006)

Internet searches for the error name and error hex do not appear yield any applicable troubleshooting, nor any methods of collecting additional problem data.

How can I obtain more detail on where the error is happening and how Firefox might be interacting with other packages present on my system?

Arch Linux has some older ffmpeg-compat packages, but those don't appear to match any of the web results, in that they're even older versions of ffmpeg.

Hi there! After a short elektricity blackout my PC was rebooted and I lost functionality of shortcuts on Mozilla default home page, turning on or off this shortcuts leads nowhere and just move search bar.

Hi, my pc (I think the ssd/os) just quit on me, is there a way for me to build a new system (reformat) onto a new drive and either using the old drive (if accessable) or "the cloud" recover all my old tabs from that pc onto the new one? I had a list of tabs saved, but it hasn't been updated in a couple months (yes, I have a lot and can't remember them all).

I'm hopeing it's as simple as putting the old drive as a secondary drive and copying the "appdata" folder or something to the new pc.

System: windows 7 (yeah, I don't want to give it up) on evga mobo with i7-x990 cpu and maxed out ram. Samsung ssd (2.5"). Most all "personal data" is stored and accessed from my nas, just don't know how to do that for the tab hostory.

about a month ago youtube was only letting me watch videos in 720 or 360, as of about a week ago i only have 360. i've disabled every single extension i have and i have firefox version 127.0.2.

i'm not having this issue in edge, so i assume it's firefox specific. anyone know what's going on or what i can do?

Hi, I am having some trouble with Mozilla Firefox version 127.02 on a Windows 11 PC. Certain websites do not load, for example, travel.state.org, which is a website to know the requirements to travel to the United States. However the site loads without any trouble on my Android phone, and on other browsers such as 'Microsoft Edge'. Can someone help me with this situation? Hello everyone, I have had a problem for a few weeks on the X platform. Some buttons no longer appear, notably the edit button on an image post or the "see" button for a hidden account (see images attached) Does anyone have a solution? I uninstalled ALL the extensions and restarted the app, but nothing works! Thanks in advance

Websites look extremely ugly because of the white borders surrounding icons. I've tried using CSS code I found on Reddit from posts that - I think - are related to my issue, but they proved fruitless.

What CSS/Setting do I have to disable to get rid of this?

Automatic update on my Windows 10 desktop of the the new update 127.0.1 resulted in a version of Firefox that worked more or less for some web sites but was unable to reach others.'

I have about 30 user/password accounts logged when I use my Firefox account on Windows PCs but here on my new Apple Mac tablet, I do NOT see/get any of those accounts. Is there something I need to do to enable this to work?

Today I noticed that typing characters with accents like á, ã, â, etc. doesn't seem to work at all from firefox, they all end up ignoring the dead key and just typing the letter itself. It can render them just fine and I can paste them from another app normally too, but actually typing them is impossible from firefox.

After trying to troubleshoot, I eventually found out a few things: - iBus is not at fault, since it works in every other app and I even restarted it, but the problem persists - This only happens in my main profile, newly created profiles don't have that problem - The problem still happens on troubleshoot mode (as long as it is my main profile) - Compose key also doesn't work (I don't want to use compose key anyway, because my keyboard has specialized dead keys, but I at least tried it)

I suspect the problem lies in a setting on about:config that's different from newly created profiles, but I have no idea which and Ctrl+F searching this site doesn't show any relevant configuration that might be the culprit.

When using Microsoft Outlook Online, I cannot right click and paste into the body of the email when using Firefox. The paste function does not even show up as an option. This use to work until I downloaded the most current version of windows 11. I can CTRL V and it will paste. It works on Edge and other browsers.
