I have aN HP Pavilion Laptop -- new model from 2022 which has Windows 11. My built-in microphone was working fine until recently. I'm not sure if it stopped working because of a recent update. I have done every possible troubleshooting and there is nothing wrong with the mic. i have even spoken to HP as the laptop is stll under warranty but there is nothing wrong with the mic. All the drivers are updated. I have checked every possible setting on the laptop and windows and even on Firefox. I have isolated the issue to be a Firefox one as the mic works perfectly on the Edge browser. However, I do NOT want to switch browsers. I love Firefox. It has many features and advantages I don't find on other browsers. PLEASE HELP!!

I went to save a bookmark in a folder and saw the folder was missing. Then I noticed some things didn't seem right so I tried putting folders in the right place. That is when I noticed that when I moved one folder, several others would just move somewhere else! I could move one folder down in a list, then some - but not all - would jump to a new place in the order. An important folder is missing. So, what causes this to start happening? Also, how can I recover my missing bookmarks from Windows Backup? And is there any way to know which bookmarks and folders were deleted? I have recently added some important ones, so I don't want to delete the existing ones and restore the old ones, nor do I want to simply restore the old ones in the existing hierarchy and then have gazillions of duplicates. Explanations and help is appreciated. Thanks!

Macos 13.2.01 (Ventura) Firefox 110.o.1 no longer able to drag url to desktop to create shortcut. The info I have seen so far relates to MS Windows but Mac might require a different fix, that is if there is a fix available. I'm not very technically knowledgeable with this so I would appreciate any attempts at a simple fix to a very frustrating issue. I note that both Brave, Chrome and Safari browsers don't have this issue. Many thanks for your assistance.

I normally use Yahoo mail with Firefox on my Surface. However, a couple of days ago Yahoo stopped working this way: I can open emails, but I can't delete emails, send an email, open settings, etc. Yahoo mail works on my Android phone. It works on my Surface with Chrome. And it works with Firefox on my PC. Apparently there is a bad relationship between Yahoo mail and Firefox on my Surface. Can anyone suggest a diagnosis and a fix? After the most recent FF update, I cannot upload photos from File Explorer to Ancestry.com gallery. I open a photo file to begin the upload process to Ancestry but my monitor goes grey, I cannot use the cursor or click on anything. A big blue circle goes around slowly so my only way out is Esc and it says Firefox is not responding and asks if I want to close the program which I do. I have retried uploading several times and each time it fails. I did a disk cleanup, a system clean up, cleared history, cache and cookies, troubleshooters; all of things+ that are recommended to fix the problem. Command prompt isn't something I use but if I have to, I will. I need get a fix for the not responding issue, otherwise I have to put my family tree on hold indefinitely. Thanks.

When I run an internet speed test (speedtest.com or any other), I get slower speeds with Firefox compared to Chrome and Edge. My internet speed for download should be 500 mbps. This is what I get with Chrome and Edge, but with Firefox I get 300 to 400 mbps. I tried running Firefox in troubleshooting mode and got the same result. Also tried changing the network settings (proxy or no proxy; Enable DNS on and off, etc), but no luck. Please help.

Whenever I exit an opened image or post in linkedin and ig, my mouse highlights all elements until I click again. This happens on both my desktop and macbook. Never had this issue on chrome.

I have 40MPS dsl. My download speed significantly reduced (17-20MPS) with the latest 110.0.1 version. I traced the problem over the last week to Firefox. I thought I resolved it by deleting one of my 3 add-ons. Speed significantly increase after that. The next morning, it was slow again. I hibernate my computer over night. I closed Firefox and it speeded back up. I re-opened Firefox and the speed remains high so far, but 3-4 MPS slower than with Firefox closed. I do notice that Firefox is a very large memory hog. I also have a newer (6 months) laptop running Win11.

All of a sudden I get the following message in a box instead of Firefox opening. Tried Firefox uninstall and install, same message. Any ideas?

Hallo zusammen, Firefox zeigt von gewünschten Webseiten Kacheln an. Wie kann man die Graphik der Kacheln durch benutzerdefinierte Graphik ersetzen? Unter bearbeiten wird angezeigt: „Benutzerdefinierte Graphik verwenden“ und „Eine Adresse eingeben oder einfügen“ Scheinbar sollte das gehen! aber, wenn man das versucht wird angezeigt: „Gültige Adresse erforderlich“ Geht bei mir nicht. Warum? Wie muss die Adresse genau aussehen? *.jpg, *.png? etc. Alles versucht. Bitte Beispiel! Ggf. Einstellungen? PC-Einstellungen? Meine Firefox-Version ist aktuell und 110.0.1. (64 Bit)

I am a long time Firefox user, having moved to Firefox from Netscape in the late 2000s. I have been very happy, but this latest issue has really been frustrating.

I am on a Windows 10 PC, and using the lates Firefox. It loads fine and works fine for 10 minutes or so and then just stops working. I can access menus, but if I click on a link - whether from the current page or a bookmark - nothing happens. It will not connect any longer and I need to shut down and restart. I can open a new tab, but nothing will load in the new tab.

I have tried everything. If I load in safe mode to remove all extensions - same issue. I did a refresh - same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled - same issue. I removed my antivirus program (Malwarebytes) - same issue. I uninstalled my VPN program (Windscribe) - same issue. I have been searching for solutions and tried a number oft things like disabling hardware acceleration - same issue. (I have reinstalled those programs as removing them did not fix the issue and it did work with them previously.)

Any thoughts on what else it could possible be?

When I select bookmarks there's a long list of "recent bookmarks" listed before I get to "Manage Bookmarks" at the bottom. Can I keep "Recent Bookmarks" from appearing?

Please let me know if I am receiving scam emails. Next need is : I do not know how to do the needed details to verify me question, your suggestions provide more questions because I do not know if I am being sent to where my identity can be captured by the scammers. Than you in advance Lloyd
