Every time I launch Firefox it creates 12-13 instances of Firefox along with one each for Chrome and Console.

I don't need that many instances. Typically I have no more than 3-4 tabs open.

Is there a Configuration setting that I can change to reduce the number of instances to 5 and greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to launch.

I am running Windows 10 Pro V21H2 at current update level. I have a custom made tower with 512GB SSD and a Core2 Duo processing running at 2.93 GHz with 8 GB Ram. Firefox is V17.0.1.

hi. recently f-secure was blocked by fire fox i believe and i removed firefox from my pc. (not sure why) i have now reinstalled firefox as i had a email from f-secure to say it was now available for firefox but despite spending the last 2 hours going round in circles i cannot find a way to reinstall f-secure. can anyone please help me? thankyou. my subscription is valid.

I have my language settings to English, and English ONLY.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?

When using the built in history side bar or history manager, after scrolling down and clicking on a link, it automatically scrolls back to the top. THIS IS SOOO ANNOYYYINGG!! Please tell me how I can stop this behavior so I don't have to manually scroll back down to where I was EVERY TIME I CLICK A LINK FROM THE HISTORY.

This annoying notification on the bottom right keeps popping up everytime I take a screenshot. I've been using computers for the past 17 years, I know how to paste things by now. Even worse, it overlays on other applications and pesters me there for about 10 seconds until I close it. Can this notification be hidden in about config or do I have to find a community add on that does the same thing, but without this stupid notification?

I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.

My firefox is upto date, even re downloaded it and refreshed it. I go to the add on's menu and chose any one, and every one when i download it says "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."

I just need a way to rearrange tool bars, and in particular, move the address bar to the bottom.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

Hi, I am trying to use SpeechRecognition on Firefox. However, it is giving the following errors:

error: network message: Error connecting to the service.

I have enabled the the:

media.webspeech.recognition.enable  -> true
media.webspeech.recognition.force_enable. -> true

Any support is appreciated.

I would like to request a feature that will automatically collapse any add-on not active in the correct tab to fold back into the overflow arrow, simple as that

I wanted to adjust some system preferences after installing the new FF 100 OS. Found I can't, either by menu or by keyboard shortcut. How do I get my access back? Using Mac OS 10.13.6. Do I need to go back to previous FF 99 version?

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.
