Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)
Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

After upgrading Firefox from 102 to 103, LastPass Federated Login extension hangs (blank white screen) after Okta login completes. Firefox 102, works fine. Unfortunately, I cannot stop the automatic upgrade for Firefox. LastPass is critical to my work and I've uninstalled it as a result. I've contributed to both Firefox and Thunderbird as I believe they are the best at what they do.
Please let me know when this will be fixed, or how to disable automatic upgrades.

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.
I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!
May someone can help me?

Up-to-date Firefox on Windows 10 laptop. Today, for the 2nd time in a week or so, the “mailto” function has disappeared; i.e., if I click a “Send email” link on a webpage, the Windows dialogue box to select a mail app pops up. When I check the applications setting, mailto doesn't appear in the list.
The first time this happened, I found online instructions to refresh Firefox and select Gmail as the mail client. I don’t mind doing it again, but I am concerned about the problem occurring so soon after the recent refresh.
I believe it was some time after Quantum was introduced, but can anybody tell me when or approximately when Mozilla first offered this settings option?

I was helping an elderly friend who is legally blind, with their computer. He uses the windows magnifier to zoom in so he can read what's on the screen. When I opened Firefox the menu and tabs take up an entire half of the screen (not an exaggeration). This is due to the removal of the compact view. There was nothing I could do to fix this problem and make his menu and tabs not to be floating and massive. What this means is that his content view is now less than half of his screen size. This is not accessible for someone with sight issues. I went through a couple of guides and alternative settings to edit in the about:config It looks like the past settings have all been disabled from making changes to the Firefox UI, including trying to disable proton. Everywhere I look it says that Compact Mode is no longer supported and will eventually be removed from Firefox.
I have been a lifetime Firefox user and I changed those settings for myself after the display update a few months ago. I would have to switch browsers if there was no fix. But for my friend who is legally blind I would be required to talk to an accessibility lawyer and see what my options are. Alienating people with disabilities because someone thought the extra space looks cool is unacceptable!

Take for instance this example amazon prime promotion that loads in its own web page that cannot be blocked by normal means. I do not wish to use amazon prime and don't want to be asked every time I checkout in order to complete a purchase. To make matters worse, the options are deceptively colored much like how bloatware developers word their installation wizards. I want to be able to bypass this page entirely and get redirected to the "no thanks" option every time this page loads. Is this something that can be done so I can shop online without being nagged for unwanted services?

Especially because I am a university prof and, in the classroom, constantly display (my own!) files from the course management system on the classroom devices. I DO NOT WANT MY FILES SAVED ONTO THE (PUBLIC) CLASSROOM DEVICE. Never mind multiple copies as it will download EACH AND EVERY TIME I open it.
I have been looking everywhere for a solution or a way to disable this feature, there seems to be no such option but I am seeing a lot of posts from people who object to this as much as I do.

I am looking for a toolbar addon that allows shortcuts to local applications. Example, shortcuts to notepad, word, calc etc... on a toolbar (like the firefox [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[B]-toolbar)
There are launchers and such to launch applications, but I just want a dedicated toolbar for this where I can place shortcuts to firefox tools/utilities on there.
10+ years ago there was an addon for firefox that was a simple toolbar which could handle url's, local applications...anything as long as it could be created as a shortcut on the desktop. But I can't find it anymore it probably got dis-continued.
Any suggestion is very welcome.

I have worked on it for months, from time to time.

Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:
Being able to set "browser.theme.toolbar-theme" permanently as 2 would fix all of the above, but users are still (Note: Since v96.0, when this complaint was raised) prevented from doing so. Why?

This morning YOPmail showed up on my windows 10 foxfire as a pinned tab. It claims to be an extension (chrome). Nowhere does anyone say it is malicious...but I want it gone and nowhere is there instructions on how to remove it...I have contacted the dev. we'll see...
It is my business computer and I don't like software, apps, code, extensions or add-ons that i cant get rid of.
Any help would be appreciated.
