Hello ! I'm using Firefox Developer (70.0b13, but happens on normal version too), and the Twitch streams lags when using resolution above 360p. When using the automatic quality, the stream starts at maximum quality. Then keeps dropping until 360p. Then the lag stops, but won't change back to max bandwidth possible quality. If I manually set the quality to 720 or 1080, the lag continues. Of course, I checked the internet and on another browsers (Brave and Edge Chromium). I can watch at 1080p without problems. I only have uBlock as extension installed. And this is happening for some time (more one week).
Any help is appreciated.

If you are in Gmail, using FireFox, and you click the paper clip icon to add an attachment to your email, while you are browsing through the window to select your attachment, if you press space-bar to preview the attachment (before you click add, while you're still browsing) and then you use the arrow keys to cycle through the list of items to preview whatever is next in the folder, FireFox will crash, without fail every-time.
It's frustrating because usually when I'm attaching some images to an email I like to preview them before I attach them to make sure they are the correct one, and when I use the arrow keys to cycle through the previews, FireFox crashes.
Just thought I'd make this known! :)

I think I found an error using which I can pass through a user account. You have entered the options for entering a second email in your settings. Now you can enter the second e-mail without confirming the password. Then you can set it as the main e-mail. Then you can change the password with the help of the newly entered e-mail!
This way you can change your account in a few seconds :(

I have a sizeable number of bookmarks saved in desktop Firefox. They're all saved in the bookmark toolbar. To save space there, I keep many of them nameless so the bookmark is only identifiable by its favicon.
When I downloaded the Firefox app on my Galaxy S8 and set up Sync, it brought over the bookmarks with names onto my phone. However, not only did it not sync my nameless bookmarks, it just deleted them outright. I no longer had my favicons in my bookmark toolbar on my PC.
I found out how to restore my bookmarks, but is there a way to get the nameless bookmarks to sync over to my phone as well? Or at least stop Sync from deleting them? Is this a bug of Sync?
Thanks!

I am considering switching from chrome to firefox. While trying to import my passwords i wont get them all.
Using the import feature inside Firefox I will get about 70% of my usernames and passwords from chrome.
Why it wont import the rest makes absolutely no sense at all.
Firefox gives no option to import from a CSV or anything else but that one button.
I get the impression the whole feature is not tested properly, If Firefox wants people to switch browser this just has to work flawlessly.

Upon a windows update, my taskbar gets stuck. I just found out today it was because of Firefox! Firefox was trying to display my sign in box for me to enter my master password. However, I heard and confirmed that the entire time, my laptop was not even signed into upon reboot from the Windows update, it was playing YouTube the entire time! I had not even logged back i to Windows let ALONE Firefox and that sound was playing all night long! I thought I was going crazy! My ear buds are plugged in so the sound was not direct for me to figure out where it was coming fro right away. Also it appears to have failed to render a sanity test? Maybe that is important too?

Hello.
I have a very disturbing usability problem with any newer version after 60.0.2. I have many open windows with some tabs in them and most of them i visit daily. All browser windows are in same order after every restart, so i dont have to search for right one. With any newer version after 60.0.2, windows order is not remembered anymore, with every restart they will be in totally different order. With every new install of newer versions 61-65, i tried to copy back my sessionstore file from 60.0.2 (few times / version), but this does not help - still doing same, all windows will be in diferent order after every restart of Firefox. So, for me it looks like there is someting broken in newer version. In version 61 there is new feature to autorestore session with windows restart, i even tried to disable it in "toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart" - no help. Thats why i still have to use version 60.0.2. Any ideas? Thanks.

I am running macOS Catalina Beta and on the latest update, Firefox refuses to open. Every time I attempt to open the window comes up but as soon as I click on it or try to interact with it in any way, it crashes. I tried fully deleting Firefox, as well as deleting the profiles as well, with no luck. I know this may be an issue with the macOS not Firefox, but wanted to see if there were any suggestions you may have. This happens with all versions of Firefox (Beta, Developer Edition, etc).

Hopefully someone will pick this up? Since my Surface Pro updated to Windows 1909 everytime Firefox updates it causes problems with sound. This is whether I am watching video outside Firefox, watching You tube in Firefox or any video in Firefox.
Symptoms.
Watching video in external video player, not having opened Firefox since rebooting surface pro - no issues Open Firefox watch a couple of vids on YouTube and sound fails - try going back to watching videos outside Firefox, video still failed.
Cure- reload Windows.
New update for Firefox (yesterday) and problem re-appears again.
This happened a couple of years ago and I solved it then by deleting Firefox from my Surface Pro. After about 6 months I decided to give it another chance and all was good until after the 1909 update and Firefox updated. Reloaded Windows 1909 (clean copy) and all ok again until yesterday when Firefox updated again.
Guess I'm going to have to reload Windows again to cure the issue caused by Firefox, again.

Hi
This is with current Firefox 63.0.1. I am using the en-us version and want to to switch the interface to French. For this I:
- added the French language pack addon - following the instructions on this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-firefox-interface-other-languages-language-pack
That documentation suggests to set the intl.locale.requested variable on the about:config page. However this configuration key does not exist in FF 63.0.1.
I found what looks like a more suitable key:
intl.multilingual.enabled
After setting this variable to True, I got a new section in FF options (see screenshot). The language selector now shows both English and French as it's supposed to. After selecting French, a message and a button appear:
"Redémarrer Firefox pour appliquer ces changements" or "Restart Firefow to apply those changes".
However the button "Aply and restart" is active but does not do anything when clicked. And restarting FF manually comes back up with English still selected.
So how can I actually use FF in either French or English?
Thanks

Firefox completely freezes up whenever I visit a page that uses geolocation services and I Allow Location Access. An example URL is:
Another example is FedEx.com.
I've tried troubleshooting this by running Firefox in Safe Mode but that does not help. The only way I can get those pages to work again without freezing up Firefox is to clear out or disallow location permissions.
I noticed that version 65.0.2 supposedly fixed a bug related to geolocation services affecting Windows users. Well, for me at least, this bug fix has introduced a bug that I didn't have before.
How can I get this looked into and fixed?

This issue has been around for years with no actual solution. I recently finally got around to disconnecting three of my devices (laptop, Samsung tablet and Samsung smartphone) from Firefox Sync in order to determine if the problem is sync-related. The bookmarks toolbar on my main device (another laptop) were still being randomly rearranged. I therefore disconnected this laptop from sync as well. The bookmarks toolbar has since been stable with no rearranging. This is telling me that this is a sync issue, not an issue with a corrupt places.sqlite file, an add-on/plug-in or hardware acceleration, as previously suggested by Mozilla, which was then marked as a solution. Sync has often been quite useful, but since I have my bookmarks (folders) arranged in alphabetical order on the toolbar for quick access and use them all frequently, I'd rather forego sync than deal with constant reordering of the bookmarks toolbar. I gather from what I've read that this problem also exists in the Google Chrome web browser. Even if the problem is a corrupted places.sqlite file, surely the sheer number of users experiencing the issue would suggest a bug or vulnerability with that file, irrespective of what add-ons are installed since the likelihood of all those users having the same add-on(s) installed is probably minimal. Surely it's about time Mozilla properly investigated (e.g. what add-on(s) is causing the issue, how the places.sqlite file can become corrupted, how sync is causing the problem, etc., etc. and disseminating the findings to users) and actually solved this issue instead of expecting users (the IT-savvy ones at least) to waste time doing their own futile troubleshooting. I really don't think that I should have had to disconnect from sync in order to "fix" this problem.
