I use Firefox on 3 devices: - a PC at home (Win 10, FF standard instalation), - an Android phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T) - a PC at work (Win7) with the Firefox portable version.

I have the latest, stable, up-to-date versions of Firefox on all my devices.

The problem is when I save a bookmark on one of the computers at work or at home, and then the devices synchronize. Bookmarks between computers do not remember their position in the bookmark folders and are saved in the main folder.

I have already performed all the steps based on the instructions in this article, but the problem persists. ([https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1270667])

I have lost my bookmarks many times when using Firefox on a smartphone or on a desktop. sometimes my device has an error so it needs to be reset, after a reset and then I install firefox and log into firefox it looks like a lot of my bookmarks are missing, especially the ones I've made a folder from a long time ago. Is firefox sync working properly???

Hi, Not sure if I found a bug. The Bookmarks bar i set to show on new tabs, but doesn't show when I open a new tab (ctrl-T). However, if I open a new window (ctrl-N) it will show... Very strange.

What's even more strange is that it works fine on my workstation (Windows 10 v. 20H2) but not on my laptop (Windows 10 v. 1909)

Firefox versions on both systems is 89.0 x64 and they are both fresh installs.

Not sure if the import from Chrome messed something up. I did have some bookmarks imported from the bookmark bar in Chrome on my laptop but had none to import on my workstation.

I have Firefox installed for Windows 10 on a PC and I use google Mail (gmail) My bookmarks menu has disappeared in Google gmail This website explains how to retrieve it, and starts with "Click menu button" (3 horizontal lines) But this menu button at the top left does not take me to the next stage which is to click "more tools" How do I find the Firefox menu button?

I have always had my bookmarks on display in a left hand panel, and this has now disappeared. I still have the other normal bookmark displays but prefer the side panel. I'd be grateful for guidance.

A Firefox download seems to have hidden or deleted all of my bookmarks. How do I find or restore them. I want to use them in Chrome in the likely vain hope that it won't screw around with my computer. And of course I will delete Firefox and never use it again

Greetings from Earth. My Firefox bookmarks in my Dell PC are suddenly altered in that many of the contents of folders (that had been alphabetized by me as I added to them over the years) are now mixed and random-- no longer in A-Z order. I woke up the other day to find this surprise. Is there a simple way to rectify this problem that doesn't involve me rearranging them one by one to their former order, or will I just have to live with the bookmarks in this new way? I did nothing unusual on the PC or with bookmarks to cause any changes. Thanks in advance for help and/or advice; it's appreciated. A fussy Gen X guy is obliged.

I recently upgraded to a new imac. Before I moved to the new machine, I wiped my old one clean, but successfully exported my old bookmarks to a html file which i have currently. When I try to import to the new machine/firefox browser, the only option to do so is for safari. Can some one help? I'm not interested in using safari . Thanks

The last update on Firefox was AWFUL!!!! The bookmarks are now triple spaced and the tabs are just floating. When is this going to be fixed?????? Why would anyone do this to Firefox???

I guess I'm just confused?

Wanted to use the bookmark toolbar to, y'know, highlight important bookmarks, but I have no godly idea how to.

Dragging the site via the padlock to the toolbar does not add it. (I even added a .gif to prove that; how cocky is that?) Putting the location in "Bookmarks Toolbar" also does not.

Also, I saw a video and he could add folders to it by right-clicking, but I don't see that. Is this all because something I enabled? Is this even the bookmark toolbar? Who's the Scranton Strangler?

Bookmark toolbar always worked and I could turn it off or on but always left on. But now Bookmark Toolbar doesn't show and when I click on it in Toolbar options the check mark won't appear but Menu Bar still turns Off and On when I click on it. Restarted computer before this happened because trouble with mouse pad and got notice about Firefox 89 update but closed it because prefer Firefox 88 that has smaller Bookmark and Menu Toolbars

FF updated without warning this AM and now my bookmarks have gone. History is still there. Any solution. ? I have been getting more and more disappointed with some of these "upgrades" and have dropped it off my Android devices because of the stupid interface. Looks like I might have to drop it off my Win machines. Thanks Greg

I had many bookmarks on the bookmark toolbar. Today 20Jun, they were truncated to just a few and all the rest are gone. How do I get all my bookmarks back. What a mess. I hate these upgrades, just made a big mess for me. I don't know how I will get some of these sites back. Please help. I am not a computer expert.

Hi, ich bin ein Nutzer mit nur grundlegenden Kenntnissen. Ich möchte gern die Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste zweizeilig angezeigt bekommen. Programmieren oder tiefgreifende Dateiänderungen kann ich nicht. Gibt es einen einfachen weg, wie ich dazu komme? Schon mal vielen Dank! Viele Grüße, Christoph

Bookmark menu used to be compact and therefore easier to see more bookmarks, much better than Edge. After the last Firefox update it is more spaced out and therefore more hassle to use.
