When launching Firefox, an "Application has stopped working" error window appears, yet Firefox itself still starts up. This error also pops up intermittently while using the PC—even when running Firefox in Safe Mode.

Hello, hope your day is good. Since the internet wide announced date in mid June ;; where Microsoft made bios changes which blocked 3rd party vendors programs from fully connecting ,,, my laptop has not been able to ( run) Firefox ,, with out problems . Even to point where my laptop,, locks up . This summer of 2026 has been the worst computer stability issues ever. I’ve been forced to constantly hard stop my rig , spend hours with rebooting ,, and then using Revo to delete non MS apps ,, then download apps ,, especially FireFox Is there a permanent fix to get around the deranged tyrants at MS . Thank you

The Firefox window closes after uploading a file to a hosting site In fact Firefox is not completely closed. I just need to click the Firefox icon in the taskbar to open the window again. it's not a big deal but it's still annoying.

My firefox randomly crashes every 2 minutes after updating to the newest version (157.0.1（64 bit）). Firefox has recently started turning itself off. There is a failure message and it self-reports the issue. However it will do this without any website loaded, it just fails to continue running without a website being loaded. This happens everyday. The application will not continue to run just by being an open application with an empty about:newtab This is very frustrating.

Is this normal behavior for Firerfox 155.0 on Fedora 44 KDE-Plasma 6.7?

To update my Intel graphics drive, I had downloaded and installed Intel support tool, which then used my default browser Firefox to scan and download the missing driver. After I was done though Firefox crashed and didn't open back up. Every time I attempt to log into X.com the Firefox browser stops working entirely. Dead. Nothing. Won't open or function. Need to restart my computer to access and use Firefox. This does not happen when I use Chrome.
