I want my old Firefox look back! What the heck have you people done and why. Does someone else now own Firefox? I loved it before and now I'm so aggravated I will look at other browsers and even if they are as bad as this "new look" in Firefox, I will switch anyway! Why the heck did you do this and who's brilliant idea ruined my Firefox?

Keep having issues with https://www.asda.com while using firefox. You go to a category or sub category and either no products load in or you get just products they want to advertise at you like the "popular now" in the attached screenshots. Sometimes refreshing can bring up the products for the category but not reliably. Both attached screenshots were taken with troubleshoot mode turned on.

I am using a very old system that is running out of storage space. There is an 8.73 GB folder that I would like to empty to free up space. C:\dtemp\Profiles contains several folders that were created 10.27.21: 2qzfs15q.default, eybandys.default, f81zrqic.default-release, pctnmazu.default-release-1, and yns5cb3s.default-release.

Can I delete any of these folders?

Hi,

I am at my wits end with unmanageable updates.

I do a lot of research online and have tabs open and forms partially filled in a lot. This last week has seen two unavoidable updates that caused me to lose data I'd been working on in forms that did not re-populate. I first had updates set to install only when FireFox was not running, but it forced a restart anyway - and I lost an entire page of data I'd been working on.

So I changed it to let me choose when to install, but it forced a restart anyway. This is with no notice whatsoever. I open a new tab, and it says I need to restart to keep using FireFox - at that point, every tab I go to will not let me use it. I didn't even know an update had downloaded in the background.

This is a new behavior; I used to have a choice when to download (but not when to install). I'm sure I'm missing something - but what?? Can anyone help with any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10,PRO installed. I have installed some new software and now need to "reset" my computer in order to use the new software. My question concerns how, if there is a way, to save TABS and other items BEFORE doing the "reset". I have found several "suggestions" on how to do this, but here is one I would like your response. I found this on Chrome;

If you use Chrome browser, you can also go to Chrome's settings > On startup, and choose the "continue where you left off" option. This way when you relaunch the browser, it will carry on.

My question: Does Firefox have similar solution? I did a Firefox search and was unable to find any similar comments, although it is possible I was not searching in the right place. That's why I am asking this question. Please respond if Firefox has an answer or someone has posted an answer.

Thanks, krazykat1

My problem is that Firefox will no longer allow me to login to my primary websites (email, bank, Costco, Apple...). I originally assumed that my outdated version of the MacOS was the problem, which was tied to the age of my outdated iMac hardware. Hence, I bought a new iMac, with the latest MacOS. Firefox still does not work. There is something wrong with Firefox and I don't know what it is. I have captured screenshots of the symptoms of what goes wrong with each website, but the one thing in common is that they are saying it is an application error on my end of the connection — which must be the browser (Firefox). I am being forced to do my daily business with Safari, but that is a strange browser for me, and they do not have my numerous Bookmarks. Also, their way of storing bookmarks is very strange, so I only have 5 — the ones that I have found so far that do not work with Firefox. There are probably more, maybe All of my bookmarks, but these are the 5 that I need every day.

Figure 1. Outlook (my email) When I log into my email, the result is Figure 1. This appears to me an application error on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

Figure 2. Costco.com When I log into Costco.com, the result is Figure 2. This appears to me an application error on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

Figure 3. Apple.com When I log into Apple.com, the result is Figure 3. This is Apple telling me there is something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

Figure 4. BankofAmerica.com When I log into my account at Bank of America, everything looks fine at first. But when I try to open my checking account, the result is Figure 4. This symbol, swirling forever, indicates something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

Figure 5. Hallmark.com When I log into Hallmark.com, everything looks fine at first. But none of the links will open, hence I cannot obtain any information about upcoming TV programs. This indicates something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

All the above examples work perfectly with Safari. Firefox is supposed to be the most up-to-date browser, so why has Firefox stopped working properly?
