As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. I don’t understand what Firefox is doing. For example, I used to start typing the first few letters of “weather.com”, which I visit pretty much daily, and it would auto fill “weather.com”. Now it auto fills every time with http://www.weatherbase.com/. I don’t know where that came from. Similarly, I used to type the first few letters of “duckduckgo.com” and it would bring up “duckduckgo.com”. Now it brings up a magnifying glass below the url with “Search with duckduckgo”. I am thinking it might be best if I can start over, i.e. clear out any information it’s saved about where it thinks I want to go, and start remembering the sites I am entering now.

I had a crap ton of pinned pages for a long time. I restarted my computer and now they're gone. I've restarted my computer before with no issues. Pinned pages are supposed to stay no matter if you turn off or restart. How can I go about getting them back?

I enter my search data or search item description into the Firefox window central to the screen, the input word and following description immediately jumps to the URL bar. How can I stop this annoying operation

Always shows "Failed to check for updates" On version 125.0.3 and still says needs to be updated. Then just run the install again and then it stops for a bit still on same version and then shows up needing update...been doing the same thing for a while now.

I am trying to get to the "clear cookies and Caches" which should be under Privacy & Security.

When I go to preferences, i can move to Privacy & Security or the other headings, but I cannot scroll down any of the pages under the headings. When I am on the Privacy & Security page the scroll down arrow takes me to Sync heading etc.

How do I fix this? I am having to go to the cookies to clean up as I am having another scroll down issue with an app that is important to me. In that I cannot scroll down a list as the dark side bar flicks on and off immediately.

I am on a MacBook Air.

Steps for reproduce:

• Turn ON PC
• Launch Audacious player
• Launch Firefox
• Visit to drupal.org

And I have sound glitches like on radio tuning. From all software, that have sounds: players, browser, messengers. Glitches disappear after restart. I find only 2 sites, that make it: drupal.org and my local bank. With Chrome - no problems.

Without Audacious glitches can be to, but not in 100% of cases.

I am always having this problem of losing all of my open tabs. I am sure I am not the only person who has many parallel task running. Then, for whatever reason, the browser crashes, and in opening the browser, the single "Restore Previous Session" button is the only lifeline back to all of that work.

Would it be too much to ask for a simple session restore feature that is indexed to history? So we could go back to yesterday's session, or last week's, and not lose so much.

This loss of ongoing work happens to me 2-3 times a year, and amounts to untold losses of time, effort, and money.

Help please.

I had to factory reset my laptop (or rather, an IT support person took over my machine and reset it before I could back up things properly!). I was not able to restore my previously opened tabs (there were a lot, like >100). It appears that all of those tabs still are showing on my mobile version of firefox as 'synced tabs'. Is there a way to pull that sync information from my phone to my laptop? If I press on "synchronise tabs" will the phone receive my laptops current tabs (not what i want), or will it update the laptop (what i do want)?

I have used Firefox as my default browser. However, when ever I click a link in my outlook email...it opens the page in MS edge. How can fix the issue and ensure the page opens only in Firefox.

Near the top of the page on the right hand side you can switch from imperial to metric units. The link is set to metric values, but the search input is still using imperial dimensions (see this on the left side of the page as you scroll down) But it works in Chrome!

The is one a myriad of problems I have encountered with Firefox. My installation at home frequently stops searching. It won't perform a web search. Typically when I fire up Chrome in frustration to this constant event, Firefox starts working again. I have removed and reinstalled Firefox, but this did not solve the problem. It's my understanding the Google finances Firefox. Are these problems intentional?

Windows 10 professional for workstations Firefox build 126.0

My browser auto updated today and after the refresh I found that the history under the address bar has been broken. It now displays only in part and over top of the address bar itself which as you can imagine is unusable. See image attached.

I entered troubleshoot mode and the problem went away. So I disabled all my extensions and addons, but the problem persists (when not in trouble shoot mode)

Any idea what could be causing this? It is hampering my ability to do my job.

I'm experiencing an issue, when I visit this website in Firefox, some images appear broken, but they display perfectly in other browsers. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
