Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. I use OnlyKey usb key as FIDO2 MFA with most of my accounts. On Firefox 123.0 on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) however, I get presented with multiple pop ups to touch my usb key but the key expects only one input/touch and it fails when I touch it the second time. This was not the workflow that I used to use before and it still works fine on MacOS ventura with Firefox + protonmail.

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

Hello, so I have been putting my custom links onto the 'top sites' start page in Firefox, by editing the icons and putting the URL, etc. It is a great 'speed dial' type feature I love. One thing has me tearing my hair out after trying all ways to try and fix this to appear to my liking, is the 'custom icon' from the website not showing in the sites I want to 'speed dial' Facebook and YT show up fine, but random sites I want on the page don't do this. I don't care why this is anymore, please don't give lengthily fixes. It's just silly you need a working URL with an icon at the end of it to display this properly. It did make me very mad, can you tell, even madder when I saw it done as it should be in OPERA browser, on their 'top sites', or 'speed dial' customizable home page they have the sensible option there to pick your own icon, you can put in a folder on your desktop if you like, no working URL needed! start a collection of what icons you want to see on your own start page. Can you please implement this 'common sense' modification as soon as possible, it will take only minutes of code writing i'm sure. I do not want to, but I will go to Opera as my main browser for this common sense functionality, good luck and thank you.

Since about two days ago firefox on both my PC and laptop has been trying to connect to a random website called ponf.linkedin.com that I have no idea where it came out of.

I have no clue why this was but I reset both browsers on both devices + reinstalled windows 11 on my main PC and it only continues happening on my PC now, i've managed to replicate the behaviour by resetting the browser and everytime that happens firefox attempts to connect to this website even though bitdefender blocks it and nothing comes up, no popup or anything as if its just in the shadows.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be and what I should do? any help is appreciated thanks.

When I scroll through Facebook, often if there are two posts with photos, the browser seems to jump back and forth between the two images making it impossible to see or read either. My release is 123.0 and it was loaded when I needed to restore my system after a drive upgrade about 10 days ago.

Starting with the most recent update, 123.0, when I ctrl-click a link in Twitter or Blue Sky, the link opens in a new tab, but Firefox does NOT jump to the tab automatically. In any other site, the browser performs as expected. My options are set correctly, and all the relevant about:config settings are set to False. Using Windows 10, 22h2.

I wish I knew! Problem seems to with name I have for my account with Firefox. I see p348brogden, I think it should be peter.brogden3 but I may totally wrong. I cannot get loading of WPS365(?) to happen.

It is sort in the background like a page behind the main screen I am viewing but it causes Firefox to crash. I have seen other posts say disable hardware acceleration, but mine is disabled, others say disabled extension, but I only have ublock! It is not my graphics card as it is all up to date. My laptop is new 6 months old.

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

I've experienced a problem with Firefox on the Metacritic-Website. As you can see on the attached picture on the left, it's not possible to set a filter for "release date". There's no problem when I use Chrome (see picture on the right). The problem still persists when I start Firefox in safe-mode, so it's not related to an extension. I could replicate the problem on another system as well. Firefox on iOS has no problem setting the filter however. Do you know what the problem could be?

I have enabled privacy.resistFingerprinting in Firefox. I have also set my default zoom level to 133%

When I open a website (e.g. https://github.com/), it is zoomed to 133% as expected. If I then navigate to a page on that website (e.g. https://github.com/pricing) using the menu at the top of the page, then the new page is still zoomed to 133%. So far, so good.

However, on the new page (https://github.com/pricing) if I increase the zoom over 133%, then navigate back to the original page (https://github.com/) using the menu at the top of the page, then my zoom level is reset to 100%.

Is this expected behaviour? I would have thought that the zoom level would be reset to 133%, not 100%.

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

In devtools when i search in all resources it takes 2+ minutes to find all of the matches, while chrome is near instant, same website. theres around 200 requests. On my laptop it completes faster though so im a little confused.

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

I am visually impaired and I need the Fonts to be Bold. I have changed the font and size but I can hardly read them they are so light. Especially on the Book mark page.
