All my bookmarks are gone and I can't add bookmarks?
I lost all my bookmarks in the new version of Firefox.
The new version is not allowing me to bookmark pages.
In Firefox, I want to put email bookmarks close to eachother in my list of bookmarks...
we have 2 users. My wife uses firefox and I use apple. I want to put all bookmarks on the top of mozilla pages

I cannot find how to add a New Bookmark to an existing bookmark folder from the screen when I am visiting a Website I wish to Bookmark. Should be simple, but I cannot find out how to do it. There is no simple drop down menu that says ADD BOOKMARK and give you a choice of what folder to save it in. HELP !!!!!!!!

I keep a lot of bookmarks, organized into folders. Many of those folders are in my bookmarks toolbar. And many of subfolders. When I click a folder (and subfolder), bookmarks present themselves from top to bottom in order of when they were added. But I'd like to see them in order of when they were last added! ...so the most recently added bookmark is the first option I see. Is there a way to achieve? Thanks in advance!

I would like to understand why Firefox places newly added bookmarks at the bottom of the selected bookmark folder instead of at the top.
In most cases, users want quick access to the bookmarks they have just saved. When a folder contains many bookmarks, having new entries appended to the bottom makes them harder to find and requires additional scrolling.
Is this behavior intentional? If so, what is the reasoning behind it? Has Mozilla considered adding an option that allows users to choose whether new bookmarks are inserted at the top or bottom of a folder?
I believe placing new bookmarks at the top, or providing a configurable option, would improve usability for many users.
