I have lost all session tabs for no reason, the menu items to restore session or recently closed tabs are inactive. This happens from time to time and its really annoying, is there a way to restore manually somehow?

I'm trying to login to my Philippines bank account, but when I click on login and it goes to another tab for login, the login boxes do not appear where I can type in my username and password. What settings will fix this so those boxes appear?

I was trying to download a new driver for my laptop but the link to each of the 'zip' files dont work, these work on Chrome. The 'popular link' works but none of the others. Hello Experts, I am Professional web developer, working on client this website. I am experiencing an problem that the images of the post pages are not loading on my firefox web browser but opening perfectly on android firefox. I would like to know why all of a sudden video clips, some web sites and my online banking I get "did not connect" Security Issues, or expired certificates. I don't have these issues on any of my other browsers. I am inclined to believe they don't exist. I can log into my online banking but the page with my account data is blank.

My plain Firefox Browser search page is recently changed to a colored page with Microsoft Bing - I do not know how or why this changed happened - how do I remove it and return to the original plain page.

Hi. I'm Greg. Two questions.

1. Lately, after an update for Firefox 2 times ago, I've been have a message like, "Page is slowing down the browser." Stop it or Wait?" I go to the same sites in chrome and it doesn't happen. I like Firefox. I've been using it for years. Do you have any ideas? I've only added one add-on, DuckDuckGo, lately. The problem started BEFORE I added it. Greg

2. I had problems signing into support. Now, at the top of my browser, is jgdolezal1. I've never had it before. Any ideas?

Sorry to be making a thread about this, but I really need some help.

I was in a hurry to update Firefox to "Firefox 83.0" and because I was in such a hurry I think I may have clicked the wrong button and damaged the Firefox Update process? I'm worried that I interrupted the update process from "Firefox 82.0" to "Firefox 83.0"

Is there any way to check that the update to "Firefox 83.0" was successful and that I'm running the latest version of Firefox and that there are no problems???

EDIT: Fixed grammar

I didn't like the new functions of the firefox update from 17-11-2020 so I tried to use an older version. This however removed my history and bookmarks. Is there any way to get those back? I didn't have a firefox account until I asked this question.

I posted this problem back when v.80.0 was out. It was later fixed, but now it's back.

Loading an external bookmark as the default start page in v.83.0 and using it as the default bookmark (file:///C:/Mine/Testing/BOOKMARK.HTM) creates an error.

The error is that clicking on any url in the bookmark to visit and then clicking the top left arrow to return will always bring you to the top of the bookmark. It used to bring you back to the same location on the bookmark. Now, it brings you back to the top of the bookmark. Thus making it necessary to scroll back down to the location (url) you just visited. Really annoying to have to keep do this in order to return to your original location in the bookmark.

Hope someone can help again.

I recently changed from Ubuntu Gnome to KDE Plasma. Now, when I'm running Firefox (v83) and click "Save as" to save a file from a web page, Firefox gives me a file list with directories mixed in alphabetically, rather than at the top. This is new behavior to me; I don't know if it's new with v83 (I was previously running v82), or if it's a KDE implementation issue.

Either way, I HATE having to scroll down through page after page of files and folders to find my destination folder. Since the dialog box also incorporates full-row select, I can't even click in the file list and type the first letter of my destination folder.

Please tell me there is a way to change this behavior and have Firefox's "Save as" dialog sort the files with directories at the top!

ok I updated my FF browser to version 83 on my Win 7 machine

• also did this on another PC that has Win 10 PC

Both are set to use Google ONLY as ALL other search engines have been removed. Since updating to the last version 83, it shows only Google - even Google as the homepage. But every search starts Bing or occasionally Yahoo search results are shown. I HATE Bing it is a virus and every few years it sneaks in on an update. Bing is hidden, but shows up after updates are installed.

The ONLY update I have done is FF as it has that continuous nag popping up to tell you its out of date.

So without resetting FF (which I found to not do anything useful, it removed my stuff, but still messed up), can I uninstall this latest version and install version 82 to remove Bing?

• The FF Nag will come back telling me its unsafe/out of date but if Google works without Bing it would be great :)

I've gone from Chrome to Edge (long time user) to Firefox now and started it seriously now but one of the things that annoys me a lot is that it refuses to go to an older URL I typed like from my store.

It just wants to go to the basic .com I've already tried to delete, shift-delete etc the URL that it wants to fill in but it does not work. Other browsers are smart enough to remember when I forced them or just entered it 10 times and then it knew that I wanted that URL.

Is FF able to do this? Kind regards.
