When I click on a story link, the initial video at the top of the story will load, but nothing below it. No pictures will load, nothing for links to Instagram, Twitter etc. All I see is a blank square, with "loading lines" scrolling through... I prefer Firefox, but use Safari now, because it doesn't have this loading problem. What can I do ro resolve this issue? Thanks....

I have an iMac running Mac OS 10.6.8 with Firefox v.48.0.2 on my network and all of a sudden only the search page is in reader view and does not have any controls. Anyone ever have this issue?

A few weeks ago I helped a tech phobic friend update Firefox on her Mac and IPad. Since then she is unable to access password protected sites (like bank and financial co) using Firefox --- on either device.

I spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out what's wrong.

For example, on her laptop, with Firefox, the user name and password is automatically filled-in for a Zoom-like site, but hitting "submit" results in an error message rejecting user name or password. Doing the exact same thing using Safari or Chrome works. This wasn't the case prior to the update.

On the IPad there are two issues. The IPad is set up for touch ID. I tried going to home log-on page for a financial company. Normally once you start to type in user name, a box would pop up asking for touch print. This no longer happens with Firefox - no prompt for touch ID. Switch to Safari and it all works. Trying to enter site by typing in user name and password doesn't work either. Hitting the log-on button does nothing. Sometimes the button stays red or turns to gray but the page doesn't change. Doing the exact same thing using Safari or the company's app works perfectly.

I tried syncing the devices, making sure password and touch ID are enabled, using Firefox 85.0.2.

Anybody have any ideas of what's wrong or how I can fix this?

When typing on facebook with my mac, letters take 3 or 4 seconds to appear. I half to restart my computer to fix the problem. Is there something wrong with my computer which is only a month old?

Is there a way to find in which folder a specific bookmark is contained ? I can do a search on the "Show all Bookmarks" library but it only shows the URL without the folder. In Chrome there is a useful feature which let you easily highlight the location. It's very strange that isn't possible in Firefox.

There is an archived post here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1161879 but the tricky workaround is not acceptable for me. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance Stefano

I was needing to confirm what version of Firefox I have today - I have it on 'auto-update' and assume it's the latest (Mac V85) but wanted to check. I went to the Firefox MenuItem and selected "About Firefox" - and GOT NO RESPONSE! I tried it multiple times to no avail.

my yahoo mail account is not optimized for firefox! help I hate chrome and safari

I was told that Yahoo does not optimize (I'm talking out of my hat here) for Firefox.

I do not want to use chrome or safari.

I LOVE firefox.

Apart from having to get a whole new email address which means changing everything! does anyone have any suggestions.

In other words I cannot get my Frontier account Yahoo mail on my new iMac.

I have a new install of firefox (78.7.1esr) on a new Apple Mac (10.15.7 Catalina). I used sync to sync bookmarks from an ubuntu install (85.0.1) onto the Mac.

The bookmarks arrived. They are visible on the bookmarks toolbar, bookmarks menu, and bookmarks / show all bookmarks. I can add new bookmarks using drag and drop, or by the bookmarks menu options. These bookmarks can be seen in the Bookmarks / Show All Bookmarks menu. But they do not appear in the bookmarks toolbar. It's as if there are 2 sets both started from the same sync.

• Bookmarks added by drag and drop visible through the toolbar
• Those added with add bookmark or show all bookmarks within the toolbar folder do not appear on the toolbar.

I've now got what looks like 2 sets that are drifting out of sync on the same latptop.

Hello! I also have a problem with mozilla! The account is always disconnected when I restart the MAC. And I always have to log in to my mozilla account. What can I do to stop being delegated? Thanks!

I recently bought a new mac mini. it is running os 11.12.1 and is the new mac M1 chip. I downloaded the latest version of firefox, 85.0.2 It seems to work great..... but after a few days i have noticed that when i first wake up the computer in the morning AND after i wake it up after it's gone to sleep during the day the browser doesn't work correctly. Trackpad won't scroll. Typing won't type. Clicking on a tab dosen't open the tab..... UNTIL i click on another window of the browser, then when i go back to the first window it has opened the tab i clicked on. Very odd. If i quit firefox and open it again it works. But this is not ideal.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have a solution??

My email with my Godaddy website has always worked until yesterday. Now what I get when I open my account is "Install Flash." I don't know how to do that . . . and I never had to do that before. Can someone explain what has happened and how I fix the problem?

Hi. I am on a brand new MacBook Pro with no access to my old one, and am unable to access my old Firefox boomarks. I didn't make a back up of my Firefox bookmarks and no matter what profile I try to recreate on Firefox, can't access them.

Do you know if I have any options for recovering my old bookmarks? Firefox says it automatically creates backups of profiles, but I don't understand how to activate or access these.

I cannot tell anything about my old Firefox profile from loading about:profiles page.

I have followed the instructions and it says my Primary Password has been reset - but it won't let me create a new password and still is asking for the password. I need further help resetting this?
