When I go to firefox preferences and then go to "search," I try to click on the arrow below "default search engine" but nothing comes up. When I try to search in the address bar, it takes me to websites named after the first word I typed. When I tried searching in a separate tool bar, I'd type something, hit enter, and nothing would happen. Please help, this is very annoying because whenever I want to search something I have to type google and then type my question in on the actual google website.

Problem: When I go back from full screen mode, the half top of tabs(more like the 2/3 part to the tab) becomes not clickable. Only way to solve it is just to restart the browser.
There is another thing that could provide a bit more info. No matter whether I've ever made it full screen or not, the 2/3 top area of the tabs will never turn grey when I put my mouse on it.
No add-ons and themes installed. Tried safe mode and it didn't works.
The same bug exists on the other Mac, which runs an older version of firefox.

Last week (14 April 2021) I was able to watch videos on netflix and hulu. This week (21 April 2021), however, a yellow bar appears across the top of the page, saying, on the left-hand side: "The WidevineCdm plugin has crashed Learn more...", and, on the right-hand side, "[Reload page] [Submit a crash report]". Repeated submissions of crash reports, as well as repeated reloading of the page, results in exactly the same: same yellow bar, same inability to watch videos. Likewise, clicking on "Learn more" merely results in the widevine.com page, which states that the company does not service end-users. In addition, last week (14 April 2021), I purchased a video on youtube, and watched part of it. This week (21 April 2021), wanting to watch the rest of the video, all I encounter is: "Your browser can't play this video. Learn more." Clicking on "Learn more" yields "Your browser is up to date. You can use YouTube's latest features!" Repeat ad nauseam. So, it seems that, even though my browser is up-to-date, I am still unable to watch videos on either youtube, hulu, or netflix.

Before April 21st, 2021 I never had any issues with playing videos on Disney Plus, Netflix, etc. But since Widevine updated I cant play any videos without Widevine crashing. I reload the page (as it suggests) and it still wont work. I refreshed Firefox and that didn't work. I also tried to chat with Widevine but their page said "Widevine is a technology provider and we do not provide support to end users. Please contact your application or service provider for support on your particular issue."
Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? I really appreciate your help!

Only to discover refresh will not work because firefox thinks I am mobile. I went to config reset the two items back to original settings- help and still I am stuck as a mobile user. I am sure if you've opened this thread, you are already familiar with the issue: Any time you try to stream Netflix or Prime, your Widevine plug-in you didn't even know you had crashes and you can't watch anything.
It appears to be a known bug, however for a long time now, no fixes.
Please help?

Regardless of how many tabs I have open or what I am doing on them, Firefox is practically guaranteed to crash at least once during my session. More than likely, it will be two or three times before I can get back to using it effectively. I have tried going through the troubleshooting steps to no avail; Firefox and Windows are both up to date, as are, I believe, my drivers. Troubleshoot Mode keeps the app from crashing, but the individual windows crash within 30 seconds.
