can someone please tell me why firefox is trying to install this unwanted file.....i run bitedefender everyday and everyday this pops up it is ANNOYING Online Threat Prevention

We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk. Today Firefox on my laptop will not open. There is a message (?from Google?) saying it is because cookies are switched off. I have not knowingly made any changes to cookie settings or installed any new features. A new Windows update installed recently (I am on Windows 11) and also a new version of Edge (although I never use Edge myself). The Google guidanc eon how to fix the situation only deals with Chrome. So how, please, can I get Firefox working again?

I want to change the email associated with my account. However I can't add a secondary email and then make it the primary, as is suggested in all search results, because the primary email has been defunct for years. (I have had no reason to enter the account since that time.) Therefore I cannot receive the code to allow me to add the email. How can I proceed? Thanks in advance. PS, please respond to my current email, which is [edited from public] @gmail.com; as the notification that there has been a response will go to the prior(defunct) email too! Thanks.

On the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nordvpn-proxy-extension/ tab, NordVPN appears to be installed as the button indicates "Remove". I have logged into NordVPN but do not have the NordVPN icon in top-right corner.

Running desktop windows 10 with Firefox, google maps opens but not not working correctly. The problem is only with Firefox. I have deleted the cashe, verified no extensions present, reinstalled windows and following all initial recommendations - google maps does not work with Firefox. Suggestions?

I closed a PDF file but can not move it to another folder. Windows says it is open in firefox. I closed firefox and it still says it is open in firefox. I even restarted windows and it still says it is open in firefox. How do I get firefox to close and release the file?

When paying credit card accounts owned by Synchrony Bank (eg J C Penney, Care Credit), after making payment, displayed receipt is too long for one page, and critical data spills over into what would be the second page. There is no site-provided Print control, and when I try to use the Print control on the toolbar, the print dialog opens up, displaying the correct number of pages (usually two, sometimes three), but displaying the image of the first page on each page. When I select pages 1 and 2 for printing, page 1 prints on all pages of the paper.

Synchrony Bank has been informed of this multiple times over the past year, and they refuse to look at the problem, saying it's "my browser." So is there any way to prove it's their problem, or can you put pressure on them to fix the problem? I am reduced to waiting for the email receipt to appear and print THAT (of course, I hold the web site open until it does), and for my last payment the email never appeared!

It wouldn't be so bad if they put the critical numbers at the top of the page, but they always have some art work and other constant content that takes up more than half the page (it also wastes ink, but that is a minor concern), as if they want to force users to print on legal paper.

I will submit the debugging information the next time I make a payment to one of these cards (the problem does not appear when printing any other web page, ONLY the payment receipt).
