I bought a new laptop and installed firefox on it. I tried accessing the gmail.com account but it keeps showing me this page https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en. I have tried severally but can't access my gmail account.

Is there a way that I can recover my New Tab page setup (just the new tab page) from a Macrium Reflect backup of my OS disk? I recently did some cleanup that cratered my FireFox profile (developer and beta also). I would like to somehow recover just the New Tab page setup from the os backup. Any solution? Thanks for your help.

I like to have my browsing history cleared after I quit Firefox, but I found out that this will break the action to open previous windows and tabs.

How to have these two options live together?

Dear Firefox, It is a matter of great regret that your popular browser has failed to sync back my saved bookmarks and other data once i reinstalled firefox. This issue is not new as it happened to me before.. Last time I didn't bother as I thought this might be an bug but today once I reinstalled firefox and signed in.. It seemed that firefox has yet once again failed to syn all my bookmarks, data, extensions etc... It is a huge pain as I cant keep on repeating myself to save all the extensions and preferences.. please solve this issue or I wll have to seek other browsers

Had to refresh Firefox but lost my bookmark sidebar & can't find a way to re-establish it. Used to be a setting for it at the top of the home page but none now. Can't find it in settings.

I have a big problem with password security. While checking my passwords I see bad passwords, I click to remove and next day they are back again. I have deleted approximately 20 to 30 passwords and almost all have returned? Something is seriously wrong and I am almost positive a hacker has gotten into the computer? Anything else I can check???

I recently bought a drawing tablet for some editing and I edit pictures on a website but every time I move the pen vertically on this browser it scrolls up and down accordingly and so far none of the settings have been helpful for stopping this.

i have set my home page to blank. Recently i noticed, that when i start firefox and visit a site, my arrow history (i don't know what it's actually called; the linear browsing history you navigate using those arrows) has the blank page as first entry. I don't want that first entry. How can i get rid of it? (And why is it called "chrome://browser/content/blanktab.html"?) When i open a site in a new tab, i don't have that blank page entry in the arrow history. So it seems like it must be possible to get rid of it.

Same problem with private browsing. The first page is always "about:privatebrowsing".

I'm using Firefox version 108.0 on Linux Mint.

It's only a small annoyance, but i really appreciate being less annoyed.

Some pages are showing incorrectly after migration to the version 108.0.

For example Azure Data Factory page is looking like in the picture 001.png. But it should looks like this in the picture 002.png.

I used to get images off web pages easily, now I just get an html link, which when I try and copy to powerpoint presentation, just gives me the link address and not the image! Very slow and unusable in the end. please help me to get to jpg or png as before.

Why did you all of a sudden completely eliminate tabs? I don't want to have to click a drop-down menu to view my tabs, or now have to right click on a tab in menu to delete one. I just want to see tabs, as they normally should be, all lined up in a row when I look up at my screen. WHY did you change this?!!

First off, this may be a duplicate, I entered my data then went to alternate page to extract config file, returned, pasted info, and submitted. I then got block indicated required fields not filled, this field and the 2 above, so please forgive me if it is duplicated.

Problem: I have the top menu enabled, and also auto-hide my tab bar. The latest update 108.0 64 bit has caused my tab bar to slide up into the menu bar when 'hidden', basically mixing the 2. This even occurs with only a single tab open. Makes it tough to access menu items going around the tabs. Addons are Ad Blocker Plus, Privacy Badger, Disable HTML5 autoplay, Forecast Fox Fix, and Ugly Email.

I am mainly using firefox (108 at this time) in Linux Mint and I have sync setup with some others systems (even older linux distribs with icewease and windows). I have a lot of trouble with certain sites when my profile '~/.mozilla/firefox' is loaded and my sync account is connected or not. (seems to be related to javascript or similar - some wait circles never stop and nothing is displayed) I assume I have something corrupted in the profile. If move .mozilla/firefox profile and starts from scratch those websites are working good.

But I have a lot of bookmarks and does not want to restart from scratch. I already did that one year ago and it seems it when I restore sync when the problems arise.

Any idea?

Hello! I've created a custom theme in firefox color, and I'm getting an error trying to upload it to the add-on developer hub. I downloaded the .xpi file and tried uploading it, but it only says Your add-on failed validation with 1 error. Received an empty response from the server; status: 403 I'm wondering how I can fix this, or how I can at least find my design that I saved within firefox color. I clicked on save, but when I tried making a new design in firefox color, it removed the old one. Now I'm having trouble finding my creations! If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly :) Thank you. And as you can tell I am new to firefox color.
