I want to install "Free Download Manager extension" for Firefox. But instead of "install Addon" I see only the button "Only with Firefox - Get Firefox now". I use Firefox from the beginning, current version 77.0.1.(64-Bit). I look hours for help, found nothing. Please help. Regards Manfred

Is it possible to mirror part screen from one browser to another? What i'm trying to do is to show part of a Point of sale screen (browser - web based) to a second screen. That way the customer can see curtain information but not the full screen. Is this possible?

As of yesterday, my top sites have mostly disappeared. I have 2 sites left. I normally have 4 lines of top sites. When I go to a site and try to add via the web bar, the option is not there to add top site. When I manually try to enter them, I do not get the websites icon. What happened and how do I get them back?

    I've looked here already and so far no good answer have been posted that actually work. Where did the Bitdefender Wallet Add-on go? Mozilla updated my browser (it's set to auto update) and it deleted my Bitdefender Wallet add-on for some reason which kind of really sucks. The rub is that Bitdefender Wallet is no longer findable when I search the Mozilla add-ons which is weird, only some useless themes pop up. I need to reinstall it as soon as possible to get up and running again. Bitdefender seems to think it should be available in the add-ons manager but nope, not there.

Help a brother out?

Is there a way to use the Firefox layout for the Android app with the Linux version?

I have a mobile phone running GNU/Linux on ARM. I can install Firefox and it runs perfectly. However, the standard layout is not optimized for the screen of a mobile phone. Where could I begin exploring using the Android layout with the desktop version? Could this be achieved via an extension or addon? Or is the layout hardcoded in Firefox?

The chosen solution suggests tinkering with the following config's:

   browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll
   browser.urlbar.doubleClickSelectsAll 

Those two config's are not in FF77.0.1 64-bit

my Firefox can't remember I set it to Esperanto. After each update it appears in English. Every time I check the language settings after an update, it seems to have forgotten that I ever used it in Esperanto and doesn't even have the Esperanto interface in the list of downloaded languages. I have to download it again and again.

I'd like to change firefox behavior (preferences, configuration, modify css, add-on, whatever) so that when I double-click a link it opens the link in new window (rather than replace the current page). Please help me figure out how to make this happen. I am running Firefox 77.0.1 (64-bit) under Ubuntu 16.04.

I cannot for the life of me get rid of sleepshadow! I've deleted it from applications but it is still on my computer. I only have this problem in Firefox. Can you help me?

Firefox for Linux, Xubuntu. Recent browser reinstall. The Preferences page now reads "Updates disabled by your system administrator". I'm a home user so I must be the administrator, but I have no recollection or intent to disable updates. How can I re-enable updates? Thank you.

Hello, the solution to restore the drop-down arrow worked fine the first time around, but once Firefox updated again (earlier this week), it removed the drop-down arrow and the fix no longer works. In general, Firefox now feels more like Chrome, which is unfortunate. Not everyone wants a hyper-streamlined experience (e.g. removing the tool bar -- I just learned how to get it back). Users should not have to discover tricks to maintain simple usability features.

Is there a way to restore the drop-down arrow and maintain it?

I want to use alt + {h,v,b,f} buttons as bindings for some extensions shortcuts, but given all these keys are binded to firefox menu shorcuts, is there any way to change these default workarounds to new ones ? even disabling the ui.key.menuAccessKey parameters in config dosn't work at all. It will be really great to have a sollution to this. Thanks in advance

I have unchecked all the suggested search boxes and still when I put the cursor on the search bar all these UNWANTED suggestions drop down?? All my browser setting are to OFF? WHAT am I missing?? Thanks!

The new encrypted version of Firefox means I cannot access streamimg services via Strong DNS. I understand the benefits of the new encryption, but what can I do to turn it off temporarily when I am accessing a streaming service?

I have an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 and a Quad core Xeon. If I play YouTube videos my GPU temp goes over 80C, this doesn't happen with VLC as it uses the CPU. Can I make Firefox use the CPU instead of GPU?

The main reason for the high GPU temp is related to cat dander and silly narrow cooling passages on the video card I need to clean every six months. I'd prefer a software solution to the problem, the hardware solution of shaving the cats is not acceptable to my wife or the cats.
