If I assign a certain site to a container and close and reopen Firefox, the site still loads but is not assigned to the container anymore. It only does when I set a site to always open in a specific container. Is it supposed work like this, or can I change this somehow? It is fairly inconvinient if I have to reassign every site to the right container every time I start Firefox. Thanks in advance.

I set "Open links in tabs instead of new windows" and it opens the bookmark link in a new tab in W10. It opens the bookmark link in the current tab in W11. Both are v93.

My preference would be the W10 way.

Not sure why this would be an OS related issue but there we are.

I remember being able to fix this before, but I can't find the config category for it now. Basically, no matter what is already open in other tabs, I always want Firefox to follow my directions and open whatever website I type in the URL in my current tab. I don't care if, say, Twitter is already open in an earlier tab. If I type in twitter.com, I want it to open in that tab, not switch to the previous tab. For example, there may be some sites that update regularly, but I want to hang onto the older version for a bit, so I leave it open. But then if I want to see the newer updated page, Firefox will not allow me to do it. What do I have to search for to switch to True or False to change this?

i want to play multiple(2) youtube videos at the same time in different tabs inside the same firefox window , what about:config commands do i need?

example listen to one tab in the background while watching another in the foreground tab, in the same firefox window.

second thing: is there a about:config or add-on that gives a mute/unmute for each individual tab located inside the tab header of each tab like a speaker button mute or unmute for individual tabs?
