Hi,

i can see all my previous tabs in history but can't reopen window?

I didn't close those tabs, one time i opened mozilla and they were all closed.

Help me, thank you

I go through the process up to 2FA then I get this message " Looks like there’s a problem with this site The server at outlook.live.com sent back an error: 401 Unauthorized".

I recently tried MS Edge even though I always use Firefox. I went through the login process including 2FA and got right in to my email. Can you help?

I prefer to use Firefox and have used it for years.

I'm using & viewing the most updated Firefox browser on a Windows 10 Pro (64 bit), desktop, 24" monitor screen.

With the current updates, the list of bookmarks in my Bookmarks Bar has become very small, skinny & overly spaced, hampering readability.

Though I have learned how to enlarge the bookmarks font size, using the "about:config" & updating the 'layout.css.devPixelsPerPx' attribute, the font still remains very skinny & overly spaced.

Is there an attribute that I can change to alter the Font Style (for example to "Semi-bold") & Spacing of the bookmarks list? If so, please be kind enough to describe the process & I'll give it a go.

If a Firefox Development Team member happens to be reading this post, I'd like to put in a request to add some Bookmarks Bar "FONT EDITING" tools accessible via the browser SETTINGS dialogue, to accommodate readability on ALL the various OS & computer form factors that have proliferated these days.

When Using fire fox it loads sites very slow if at all, and does not use correct passwords for the site selected. I use Norton Security and am operating on windows 11. When using Microsoft edge for the same it works fine. I've had firefox for years and have always updated it, but within the last week or so it seems to be getting worse and worse. Any Suggestions?

I'm running Win11, v25H2, os 26200.8524 on a Dell laptop. Firefox v151.0.3 (64-bit) is behaving a bit odd in that I can open a window, open maybe 2 or 3 tabs, close all but one down, and if I check Task Manager it'll show multiple Firefox apps open, sometimes as many as 20+, and the disk usage/storage is usually between 750MB and 1.2GB. I can see if I had multiple windows or tabs open that the number of apps in Task Mgr would be equal, but if I've only got one or two tabs open and Task Mgr shows I've got 23 open? I have gone into Firefox/Settings/Privacy and Security and selected "Never Remember History" so that if I click on History in the main menu bar it never asks me if I want to clear history, but it will show "Recently Closed Tabs" for whatever tabs I may have opened during that Firefox session. But again, if it shows I have 4 recently opened tabs, why would Task Mgr be showing 18 (for example) open instances?

I have not activated Firefox VPN, I have Enhanced Tracking Protection set to "Standard", I do not have A-I turned on, I don't usually use Private Windows, and I don't have any 'extensions' or 'add-ons' installed - I'm using pretty much the 'standard' Firefox installation. I have Norton 360 VPN installed but rarely turn it on. If this makes any difference, I did try out Privacy Badger about 3 months ago for about 2-3 weeks, but it got so odd that I uninstalled it. Interestingly/oddly enough, about half the websites I visit multiple times a week still give me a pop-up message saying "We see that you're using an ad-blocker, would you like to turn it off?" but I can't turn it off if there's nothing installed. To see if I could stop this 'phantom ad-blocker' I even went so far as to "refresh Firefox", but actually I'm getting more instances of websites telling me "turn off ad-blocker so we can make some money out of you!!!" since the refresh.

This is annoying, not life-threatening but since I've had other problems with low disk storage/ high usage, I try to keep an eye on it and Firefox using ~1GB of space doesn't help the situation. I had asked about Privacy Badger a couple weeks ago and the answer was pretty much "if it's uninstalled, it's not working"... so that was pretty much a dead end.

Ideas?

Hello, about 3 - 4 weeks ago I used my Yubikey to login to a secure site via Firefox. Yesterday I again tried to login to the same site using my Yubikey and failed. An error messaged appears as per the screen shot. I then tried another two browsers (Edge, Vivaldi) and succeeded in using both browsers to login using my Yubikey. I also was able to login to (using my Yubikey) the same site via Firefox on my laptop without issue. My two firefox apps are not linked in any way. Has anyone else had this issue and know of a way to fix the problem?

I manged to find and lose a reddit post that discussed the same problem. In the end the reddit author said it was a windows issue and fixed via the settings app in windows. I have tired this but this doesn't appear to work. Regardless I am also reaching out to the Windows community to see if they can help.

ok now every time Firefox updates im on a a page and yes i do have ad ons or extensions which Firefox offers and if we are not supposed to use the why offer them Ill be on a page mostly A Facebook page and it keeps asking me to stay on or leave page on Facebook page stay on page or leave page I try to hit stay on page and i can not i have have to ht leave page what is going on and why i hate this thing why do i have to keep refreshing the page why is this happening do i need to remove the add on you support this is just not right

Within the past few weeks clicking links in emails in Outlook (Version 16.109.1) for Mac fails to open a tab in Firefox. Is this a known issue with either Outlook or Firefox? Perhaps something that happened in an update to one or the other that can be changed back to allow email links to open tabs?

After realizing what was being done to my PC, I unplugged it to stop the hacker. And I have since been able to recover my program, except for my ad blocker. Before this unusual encounter, I was using a free ad blocker. I want to restore it to its original status, if possible. Thank you for any help, Leman H Wilson at 7:09 PM 6-3-26

My firefox took longer than normal to load this morning. It will go to some homepages but then won't go to any sub pages. It appears to not want to go to the home pages of shopping websites. It says it last updated firefox 5 days ago so the long wait this morning wasn't an update. If I use Microsoft Edge I a able to browse freely.

When I click the "story continues" button in a Yahoo news article in Firefox, nothing happens. In Chrome, it works fine. An example page with a button of this type is here .

Nothing jumps to mind about a setting that would be responsible for this, but I'll put it out there. Any thoughts? Or is this just a Firefox bug?

Is it possible to get rid of the sidebar section at the bottom part of the vertical tabs completely? If so how? Or is it simply not available to get rid of it completely?

I tried to turn off "Show sidebar" in settings, but then it defaults back to "Horizontal Tabs" instead of sticking with "Vertical Tabs", and switching back to "Vertical Tabs" will turn on "Show sidebar" again. And using the sidebar settings/"Customize Sidebar", there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of it.

When clicking on the shield for some sites the clear cookies and site data is grayed out. Any one know why this is happening?

I can still do this for an individual site by going through the Setttings->Privacy and security->Manage browsing data

So, I'm not exactly sure what's going on. Whenever I try to turn on Firefox's built-in VPN, either it tells me I cannot connect and to try again in a few minutes, or it just does not respond at all. I know this is vague, but it's literally everything I can muster. I looked through the settings, and nothing there helped.

I'm uninstalled, Firefox and reinstalled it and cleared the cache. And it's still either not linking to certain sites at all or not, opening them correctly or completely. I don't wanna spend any more time than necessary on this. If you can help me, that would be great.And if not, I'll just go back to chrome

I do enjoy the suggested stories on my home tab from time to time. However, certain providers, such as the New York Times, are paywalled. I would like to be able to block stories from a particular provider such that I don't have to see a cool headline, click, and be disappointed by a paywall blocking the story. Alternatively, make it so that Firefox does not suggest stories that require logging into an account from the provider to read them.

I use WhatsApp web with Firefox 151.0.3 on a Macbook Air. In WhatsApp web, you should be able to emoji over a message sent by someone else. One clicks on the smile icon at the side of the message, the emoji pallet appear above and select one of a handful of emojis. Since a recent update, the pallet no longer opens. It's just white space, the cursor does not change allowing you to pick one of the emojis. See screenshot. Is there a fix for this please?
