Warum fordert FF bei Anmeldung in Ebay, Kleinanzeigen immer das PW und anschließend noch eine Bestätigung über mobil Funk. Das war vor 2 bis 3 Wochen nicht, es nervt. Weiterhin werden die Bilder in Ebay kaum noch gezeigt. Sytem Win 11 auf PC

When I'm on a site that I've accessed on my main machine or phone (Apple), but try to use my Apple ID when logging on via the Firefox browser on my Linux machine, I get a popup asking for a fingerprint. None of my devices use a fingerprint. I get it needs confirmation, but very rarely you get the dotty circle to use with your phone camera, but not all the time. How can I make my life easier and get the dotty circle all the time, or force things to go to my phone for confirmation that it's me - face ID or something.

I've looked on my Apple stuff and can't find anything that will help, so I'm reaching out!

I am currently experiencing a very frustrating issue with Firefox. I have been using it for many years, and it has always been my preferred and most comfortable browser for my daily work. I depend on it heavily, as all my bookmarks and other important information are stored there.

Over the past few weeks, Firefox has been crashing more than ten times a day. I have already tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested in forums and through AI-based support, but none of them have resolved the problem. I also attempted to install and use the Firefox Beta version, but the issue still continues.

In our environment, other users and devices are not encountering this problem, so it does not appear to be related to internal firewall or antivirus restrictions.

Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? I have attached the error screen that appears after the crash along with the crash report for your reference.

I cannot log into Facebook with my Firefox browser. Even though the username and password are entered correctly, the login freezes and I cannot proceed. I am able to access the site on other devices. On my laptop, I deleted all cookies, history, and cache as recommended. I am able to log in to Instagram on this device. Coincidental to this problem: when I try to view video on newyorktimes.com, the browser freezes. I cannot view content in other open tabs and must reboot the browser.

In the last week or so I have noticed that when I go online to to purchase something or just browse for items, my location has altered from UK to Ireland. I wondered if anyone has had the same experience and maybe has an answer to help me.

All of my bookmarks; hundreds of them, disappeared from the folders that appear along the top of the task bar and the folders are now empty. I cannot locate a backup file which is supposedly saved automatically and the appearance of a folder on my desktop titled "old Firefox data" doesn't help resolve the situation. I need help recovering these book marks if possible.

Youtube webpages won't load properly after saving. They start to load but then switch to a white page. I need to be able to save a video's webpage to save links and other information for later viewing. This started happening on any computer 2 or 3 months ago. I'm thinking that youtube did something that causes the saving of their webpages to be messed up. Youtube webpages display fine on youtube.com but saving their webpages doesn't work anymore.

Recently it seems to me that a lot of sites don't seem to recognise me, so I have to do multi step logins.

Paypal for instance. I don't save the password, I type it in each time, but now it insists on sending me an SMS in addition

My guess is that FF is deleting some cookies that I'd rather it didn't. What can I do?

I have reset Firefox as default browser on my Windows 11 PC a hundred times in the past few months. Today, I could not reset it at all -- I click the default button in Windows 11 and as soon as I close that settings window, it disconnects. I've run out of things to try to fix this. I think it MIGHT be related to Norton 360, because I first notice this problem when I opened Norton.

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

I have a problem trying to get the app PC Express past the sign in. The app is part of the yourindependentgrocer.ca app. I have used Firefox, Chrome and Edge and have encountered the same problem. I use Proton for my e-mail and I have used all their apps for my computer. I recently changed the start up app from judymk@protonmail.com to judymk@pm.me. I don't think this is a problem as Proton says the app should not care what protocol is used as it translates the same regardless of what app is used. I would appreciate any help with this.

Using Facebook creates an "Isolated Web Content" which makes the page run slow then crash.

This has been happening for years, now and means I increasingly just don't use Firefox, switching to Chrome, instead.

This affects Facebook on my Mac (Sequoia) and PC (Windows 11) machines.

Initually I was having issues where I couldn't get the print menu to load up (forever stuck trying to load the preview), however since then it has progressed to downloads refusing to download and the hamburger menu in the menu bar doesn't react when left clicked at all.

Sometimes when I click on a stored bookmark all I get is a white page and no info.? when this happens I right click on the firefox icon in the taskbar and go to a new private window and after that I can get to the bookmarked site. wondering why this happens at times. I am using windows 10 for now but am planning to build another computer with windows 11 in the future.
