I find that when I reopen Firefox, many of the tabs in a group are duplicated, appearing both inside and out of the tab group. Is there a fix for this or something I can do? I'm on Firefox 147, on Windows 11. Thanks.

I have tried all the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling, reinstalling and backing up my profile but on every machine after one session or one time instance and if I have to close Firefox or restart my workstation, I can no longer launch Firefox. It leads me to believe there is some kind of profile issue or corruption with my account but for months I've been battling this issue and can not resolve it. I do remember getting some Firefox window showing the Profile option or Create Profile and I believe nothing was selected. I proceeded to select the Profile on the left and it seems after that is when all the problems started to occur. If anyone has experienced this or can assist, I would greatly appreciate it.

All searches get blocked by reCaptcha, quoted as being caused by 'unusual activity on the network' After going through the "I'm Not A Robot" process the search is o.k., but this happens for every search. The problem does not exist if I switch to Chrome. How do I fix this?

I'm on week 3 of attempting to import my firefox data I'm stuck on the already synced to profile create another. I am unaware that I have any profile at all and I don't want any profiles. Is there any means at all of retrieving my passwords and bookmarks from my old laptop without having to deal with this crap?

Unfortunately, Fusion does not work properly with the new Firefox. Firefox cannot be controlled using shortcuts such as H-headlines, E-input fields, B-button, insert+F7-link list, and insert+F6-heading list. Also, on most pages, you can't use Jaws controls like word-by-word reading or paragraph-by-paragraph reading, which is really limiting, especially with Outlook online. In Firefox 146, Jaws usually only recognizes the whole email as an image, and reading aloud only works if you use the mouse and navigate line by line, which is really hard if you're visually impaired. Since I don't want to give up Firefox permanently and am forced to switch to another browser, I am trying to get feedback to see if a solution can be found in the future so that I can continue using Firefox. I am having trouble downloading documents. They never finish loading and if they do I cannot download them to a file. Also when I exit firefox it isn't closing correctly. It brings up the last session. It keeps telling me it is still running even though I am exiting.

It is extremely annoying that the shortcut tabs forces me to have shortcuts based on my search history

For example, the fact that I visited a website about how to make pasta does not mean that I want that on my home tab every day, I am not wanting to make pasta every single day and if I were to want to make pasta every single day I would most likely not need the recipe

But everyday I do want to access YouTube, so I do want my shortcuts enable. I won’t add it to my bookmarks since they are for more important purposes (also uncomfortable to reach in comparison to shortcuts which are right in the middle of the screen)

There clearly should be an option to do have shortcuts in the home tab but without recommendations based on your search history

I have selected Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo tabs to be open when starting Firefox. With Microsoft Bing as the primary. However, Bing only displays a gray screen with a search bar, but doesn't work. I am using Windows 11.

I have set Bing as my home page when I start Firefox (it has been this way for years). This morning when I started Firefox the Bing home page only partially loaded. The home screen picture of the day won't load and I can't search with it. The only thing that works is the other bookmark tab. I also have Bing in those tabs but the same thing happens when I try to start it from there. I have shut down and restarted my computer, still happens. I have downloaded the latest update of Firefox, still happens. I don't think doing anything with Bing will help, since when I try to start it from the saved bookmarks tab or type it into the address bar it still won't load. I also started Microsoft Edge and it loads fine from there. Although, I just started Chrome and the same thing happens there, it only half loads, so not sure what is going on. I am not tech savy, so am a little uncomfortable with deleting Firefox and re installing it myself. Not sure if I would loose all my saved bookmarks. Can you help.
