Hello, I have not been able to upload my video to YouTube for a month. I have been waiting for several hours and the video upload progress is zero. Another browser freely uploads videos. I have uninstalled and installed the Mozilla browser several times. Please help with the settings.

TikTok might not be working due to a few common reasons like a poor internet connection, server problems on TikTok’s side, an outdated app version, or too much cached data. Sometimes, the app might crash or fail to load videos properly. Restarting the app, clearing cache, or updating it usually helps fix the problem. bold text

When I run firefox, the following commands lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|wc -l lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|grep DEL|wc -l produce values in the 20 000 or even 100 000 range.
For instance, currently with only 1 tab open - the form on which I type this question - I get $lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|wc -l 19317 $lsof |grep -i firefox|grep memfd|grep DEL|wc -l 16362 And these numbers are still on the low side. In normal use (e.g., 10 tabs open), the numbers reach close to 100 000.
Some example lines of lsof: firefox 3883 135330 StreamT~s xxx DEL REG 0,1 27559 /memfd:mozilla-ipc firefox 3883 135325 Indexed~I xxx 156u REG 0,1 67108864 11945 /memfd:pulseaudio (deleted) firefox 3883 135325 Indexed~I xxx 160r REG 0,1 13192 78 /memfd:mozilla-ipc (deleted) firefox 3883 135427 StreamT~s xxx 132r REG 0,1 170 3110 /memfd:mozilla-ipc (deleted)
Although it may be a problem in lsof, this suggests that firefox performs a lot of memmaps that are later deleted, but are deleted in a way that leaves some left over state. Note that the "DEL" state in column 6 does not always agree with "(deleted)" in the right most column.
I first discovered this issue when my computer started failing with messages like pipewire-pulse[103898]: pw.mem: 0x55ce0273ac50: Failed to create memfd: Too many open files This could be a coincidence of course.
Current firefox version: 137.0 (but also occurs in other versiosn, e.g. 133.0.3) uname -r: 6.12.7-100.fc40.x86_64 OS: fedora 40

Hi Mozilla, I'm a loyal and longtime user and have had no major problems I can remember in the last 15 years. Recently, however, I've found that over the last seven or so months I have had great difficulty managing my New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com) and New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/account/profile) accounts. I have had to update credit card information, change passwords and update personal information and I've only been able to do this by switching to an alternate browser (usually Safari). I'm constantly told that I should be using Chrome with them, which I DO NOT want to do. Can you find out why Firefox won't fully work with these sites? Thanks and Cheers, Jeb Blount (p.s. the last time I had trouble with this was about a week ago)

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with all the latest Windows updates installed; running Windows version 23H2. Firefox release I'm having problems with: 137.0.2.
Just upgraded to release/version 137.0.2. The first time I open Firefox each day it takes about 2 to 3 minutes for ANY website to load. Sometimes when a web page does eventually load none of the images display.
I have tried same websites using Google Chrome AND Microsoft Edge. Websites don't have problems loading using either of those 2 browsers unless I have Firefox open in another window. If they load slowly, as soon as I close Firefox, web page load quickly in Chrome or Msoft Edge.
Not a RAM problem because I typically have around 20% of my RAM being used.
Did not have any of these problems using Firefox version 137.0.1.
UPDATE: Thought maybe it was one of my add-on/extensions so I checked for updates. Four needed updating. Made the updates and website still no loading properly.

I run Firefox under Linux Mint. Both are always update to the latest level. Over the past 1 to 1.5 years, across updates to both Firefox and Mint and multiple 'clean' installs of Firefox, I have experienced many crashes from Firefox per week. Sometimes there will be as many as 5 per day, but never less than one per day. During the same period I have also been running Vivaldi; it has not crashed once in that time. Now I have to do something. If there is a simple way to perform 'problem source identification', that is within my capability, I would be grateful for advice. If there is not, then clearly I will have to un-install Firefox.
As far as I can tell both of these browsers run with just 1 add-on/extension: uBlock Origin. Disabling this extension in Firefox does not stop Firefox from crashing.

Hello,
I can no longer log into twitch, it says my browser isn't supported.
Before you say anything: I have the latest version of Firefox, I have disabled all addons, cleared all cache and cookies, even tried a complete, clean re-install. I can log-in in other browsers, just not in Firefox. I have disabled enhanced tracking protection as well, didn't work.
Does anyone have an idea?
