thank you for taking out my new real email that I wish to use a sign-in ID I read the ibstructions to not leave personal info.But I was wondering how Iwould get an answer -- and of course I just have to check back here regulary. If Mr. Moderrator you know a link to solve my problem I would appreciate.

What is this window called? When this window started popping up a couple of months ago, I noticed a couple of odd things happening on a website I go to. It would not let me pay them. It would look like it was going to then a white screen would pop up ans say" if you see this window then you ...........". I then have to pay on the phone or chrome. I have whitelisted the site but still does it.

Periodically I delete my cookies and site data thus... Preferences/Privacy & Security/Cookies and Site Data/Clear Data. I used to use an add on for this but it stopped working.

Today it says I have "Temporary and cached files 1.3 MB". But it says that after Clear Data. It says it after I quit and restart Firefox. And I still says it after restart the computer. My Manage Data... and Manage Exceptions... boxes are empty. I have tried running Antivirus Zap Pro, which doesn't find anything sinister. How can I get rid of it... whatever it is? Can I access the folder and delete it manually?

I'm on an old Macbook Air, running Monterey. With the latest Firefox 132.0.2

Recent refresh of Firefox, suggested by Mozilla, due to some HTTP conflict.

Refresh created a new profile and backed up/saved old profile. Now can not get auto login or auto fill to work. Will not stay logged in when leaving a page.

Can I remove the new profile and use the old one?

When I launch FF after rebooting an annoying ad pops up on the new page tab, the contents are:

'Get the inside scoop

See the add-ons our staff use to make browsing faster, safer, or just plain fun!'

It pops up just under the puzzle piece icon next to the address bar.

Is there a way to block it?

i cant find panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section. and i want to delete the auto fill emails i get popped up when i want to type an email anywhere please help

Hello. I bought the Williamston Inn. The old website was at Squarespace. I hired a new company to create a new website. I thought everything was going to seamlessly transfer...LOL. I then canceled and transferred hosting to GoDaddy. I have an issue only with Firefox where it says SEC Certificate Revoked. I am somewhat tech savvy, but this has me stumped. I have cleared cookies, history, cache and even asked both the Logo House and GoDaddy for ideas. Please help.

I just want to stop a piece of my own history from being shown on "Firefox Suggestion", which was made with a firefox browser on my previous device and is relatively private.(I know I can do this by modifying "Search Suggestions->Show search suggestions ahead of browsing history in address bar results", but I would like to preserve the function itself). That device is permanently unapproachable, and so is that browser. I tried "Clear recent history -> Everything", but it didn't work as expected and that is still shown. I think clear all my history(not only those made on this currently used device) may help, how can I do it?

I've been using Firefox and it's saved numerous passwords. However, these disappeared suddenly. Through testing, I discovered they reappear when I restart Firefox in Safe Mode (achieved via about:profiles => restart with adds-on disabled). Yet, re-enabling add-ons (restart in normal mode) causes the passwords to vanish again. Interestingly, disabling the add-ons in normal mode doesn't restore password access.

Looking for solutions or insights.

Firefox removes the exceptions after every update and they have to be manually re-added. This is a very frustrating user experience. Can you please help me identify if this is an issue with Firefox that can be updated or is it an issue with some setting I have setup.

Exceptions that get reset - Cookies and Site Data, Pop-ups, Add-ons, etc.

Permissions that get reset - All of them Location, Camera, Microphone, etc.

• Side note, the Troubleshooting Information section below has a link to share data, that link does not open in a new window. It opened in this same window, erasing all the content I had typed up the first time.

Hi I have been using firefox on linux for a while without updating it. We are artsellers and I used to be able to log in and out of an artplatform without any problems. It's now been a few weeks since logging out is not possible any more on this platform which means that I am constantly logged in which I really do not want. The menu does not work anymore on this side whereas it works with other browers. I already contacted the platform. They cannot do anything about it themselves and asked me to contact your team. It doesn't matter if I add www.youtube.com site to hosts file in Linux and delete cache, Firefox just doesn't block it, bypassing my meassures to prevent me to get hooked up here. It was blocking everything as expected some weeks ago. I also tried redirecting to different IP's and it didn't work.

After some checks, I noticed:

• It happens only with www.youtube.com, it doesn't happen with youtube.com (without www)
• Other common pages like other Google pages, Facebook, TikTok or Instagram, get succesfuly blocked by hosts file as expected
• I have tested creating new profiles with about:profiles, but the issue continues
• The issue started after Firefox Developer Edition version 125.0b1 as you may notice in the images attached.
• I also tested with the latest nigthly version and the issue continues.
• DNS over HTTP (DOH) doesn't seems to be the problem since it seems that my network doesn't met the requirements to enable it, and if I manually make sure it's disabled, the issue still continues.
• Chromium browser blocks www.youtube.com as expected, so that indicates my PC might be correctly configured

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again?
