Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

Hi, I disabled several options in About:Config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and moved to it automatically. Whatever you do with the current tag, I want it. Please help me.

As of today, all of my Firefox extensions have stopped working and all of the search engines have been removed from the Default Search Engines menu.

I've tried everything I can find for either problem, but nothing has worked and they seem related?

Extensions:

• Reinstalling extensions did not work. They're still listed as enabled on my extensions settings page.
• I'm not in private browsing mode and my extensions are set to be usable in private mode anyways.
• Extension icons don't appear anywhere in the customizing menu for the toolbar, including the overflow menu.

Search:

• Deleting the search.json.mozlz4 file did not work; it didn't create a new file.
• "Restore Default Search Engines" button in search options is grayed out.

Both:

• Reinstalling Firefox did not work.

I have no idea what to do at this point.

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

The little image shown will appear and float on the left bottom of pages I open including secure pages that require me to log in to enter. That little stick man I consider a security threat and have tried to get rid of it to no avail.

The picture I captured of it was when it was on blue background. If on white background, just the circle with the stick man in it.

How can I delete it?

Hello I don't have sound on Firefox. I made all points from article mozilla's about trobleshooting with sound, but it still doesn't works. I have sound on others - Chrome, Edge, Opera. I tried also install Firefox to my laptop and it's the same problem. I turned off blocking of sound in settings. What can I do with it? I very like Firefox and don't image to be without it. For the past few months I've been starting to have some trouble with other sites that I go onto. For example, on Google if I try to search something that has 'a' in it, it ignores the rest of my query and searches up everything leading up to the A. Even just pressing A it's almost like it's acting as a mouse-click, but this problem only seems to be occurring on Firefox, nothing else.

What's going on?

Suddenly my email from yahoo (my address==> [edited] @att.net) is GOING INTO TRASH. What'up ? I made NO changes to filters.

Hi, Am backing up a laptop that needs to go overnight to a repair shop and want to wipe it clean for privacy. Will the passwords saved by firefox be saved in the backup as well?

I've also downloaded them to a csv file as an additional precaution, but have no idea how to reload them into 'saved passwords' after the repairs are complete, as no option is provided for that - only the option to import from another browser... Thanks for your help!

PS: also, why does mozilla require a manual login to this support forum when my login is saved in it's own password saver?? It is not auto-filling it as expected.

IF I CANNOT GET BACK INTO MY FIREFOX AND/OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT I CANNOT GET MY EMAILS TO SYNC. How does someone get ACCOUNT HELP? I'll pay for the blasted help if just to get my emails out of FIREFOX? I'm running FF 111.0.1 on a 64 bit ASUS I tried to get on Ebay.com a couple of days ago and when I used my bookmark to open the site the cursor just goes back and forth and the site never opens up. So, I figured that they were having internet issues and just kept trying. Well, it's still not working so I'm trying to find out why. I have my FF set up for the address bar to be "just that" and a separate search window in the tool bar. After trying all kinds of things that did "not" work, I changed my choice of search engine to "ebay" and when I typed ebay in the search window the sight came up with me all signed on (because I leave myself signed on) and everything seems to be working as normal. But, I don't want "ebay" for my search engine and I don't want to have to sign on to ebay that way. What has happened to cause this and how can it be fixed?

So this started recently and I'm not sure if I did something to toggle this by accident or not, but recently when I've started dragging the web address into my favorites bar to add to my favorites, the favorites bar won't save the page's title, and instead will only save the web address itself. I'm not sure if I'm explaining very well, but I'm including a screen shot of what I mean; if I click on the star and add to favorites, then the web page's title will show up, but not if I just drag the address in. I find this personally frustrating, and I was wondering if I had accidentally toggled something? You can see the difference between the two in the screencaps I've posted.

Hi, I don't know why, but my firefox's console suddenly started highlight dom elements only with borders, without background colors for padding and margin as usual. How to get them back? Attaching 2 images: one from firefox, with current boder-highlights, and sadly one from chrome, because firefox doesn't have anymore, with background highlights, just as an example of how, circa, was FF before.

How can Mozilla help? STOP INTENTIONALLY RUINING ALL USE OF FIREFOX, THEN LEAVE ME WITH NOTHING BUT A CHAT BOX AFTER MOZILLA RUINED THE BROWSER. On16/March/2023 Microsoft stated this PC was fully up to date, so please don't bother blaming the PC when it was the FORCED update that broke this browser.

So I have this extremely annoying issue. Almost every time I open Firefox on my system, all of my add-ons get disabled. There is no pattern to when it will happen either. Sometimes I can open it 2 or three time without a problem, other times its every single time, and to top it off all of my saved logins randomly disappear too, as well as some of the settings (namely search bar settings). A simple closing and reopening of Firefox restores the login info, but not the settings. I’ve tried making a new profile, didn’t work. Tired uninstalling Firefox and starting clean, still didn’t work. I’ve checked all my settings, and tried deleting the extensions data in the Mozilla folder. Nothing seams to work, and I don’t have a clue why this keeps happening. I’ve been using Firefox since it was still in beta, and have never had this kind of problem before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
