I used to be able to see my browsing history on a specific date until a recent update. Control H gives me browsing history, but even selecting "by date" or "by date and and site" doesn't give me the specific dates, only months, which is not what I need.

I'm afraid I cannot continue using Firefox, after the last change, since I can no longer keep my tabs open after closing a session, as I specified in the settings: "Open previous windows and tabs." Can someone help?

Firefox does not delete history by using any of the recommended procedures. Clear recent does not work either. The only way I can delete history in by going to manage history and manually deleting.

I found some information about deleting closed tabs from Firefox.

Please allow users to select a date or date range instead of a maximum number of tabs and windows. Computers often restart, for instance when installing updates, and some sessions will include more tabs than others.

This morning I installed Firefox version 150 on Windows 11. Since then, the address bar does not auto-complete for websites I have previously visited. It also doesn't show any history in the search bar, only the history for my phone (see screenshot). I have also included a screenshot of the address bar settings.

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

Last week I went through the process of choosing a profile so I would not be faced with choosing whenever firefox opened. ( I was guided through the process by some of you elders.) My bookmarks are all in place but that history no longer accumulates, not even during the session I am in. I must have hit something without knowing it. I have gone up and down settings on several levels, but I can't figure out what will make this work again. It is helpful to have this reference so I would appreciate help. For years I have clicked on the clear history, clear data and manage data on the settings page in privacy and security--directly after leaving every website, just to be sure...now nothing is happening when I click on them. FF is up to date and nothing is different (that I know of).

I want to know how to go back to the previous page when i hit the back button on the navigation bar instead of going all the way to the original start page, I have trie suggestions like the Backspace ket and the left arrow key but they don't work. would like to know if i can get it to work like it used to.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should. 

Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. I have searches from a year (or more) ago that are still popping up and I don't know why. I have done multiple clears of my entire history and individually removed old searches when they pop up - they still keep coming back.
