Since about 2 weeks ago many AOL attachments are not opening (pdf.s are but others eg Word not). I have read thru' previous messages on this (in 2021) but turning off enhanced tracking has not fixed it. My attachments open in Edge and Chrome. Like others I would like to stay with Firefox but cannot live with this problem. Help please

It turns out the copied logins-backupjson file i had pasted on my desktop screen was already overwritten by an added or removed login, thus writing over when it did have the saved login removed that i was trying to recover

is there any other way to recover the removed login?

If you still have the signons.sqlite that was used in a previous Firefox version then you can try to restore passwords saved in that file.

Firefox 32 and later builds store the passwords in the logins.json file in the profile folder and no longer use the signons.sqlite file that has been used before (the matching key3.db file is still needed). If you still have the signons.sqlite file used in previous Firefox versions then you can try to force Firefox to migrate the passwords saved in that file (you will lose passwords saved in Firefox 32+ versions). You can force Firefox to reimport the passwords from the signons.sqlite file and rebuild the logins.json file with these steps:

   reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the about:config page to the default value via the right-click context menu
   delete the logins.json file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed 

When you restart Firefox then you should have the signon.importedFromSqlite pref with the value set to true and you should have the passwords imported in the Password Manager unless there may have been errors.

Please my firefox appears to have crashed, or is not working how can i fix it. As i try to open firefox document a dialogue box appears saying that either the firefox is not designed to run or that i should reinstall firefox. Another dialogue box opens saying couldn: load XPCON

my vertical column HISTORY under the toolbar has been deleted by FIREFOX. Want all data in History on the right be displayed on left always visible when opening FIREFOX.

This is FIREFOX'S error; fix it.

in Facebook when i try to to do avideo call to some one I can see me but not them it says they have joined but do not see them odly it works in Chrome but not mozilla > I even tried diabling a ll add on and still can not get i have no idea why i reinstalled the camera i am on window 7 as my 10 is broken

In settings, Start-up, I have the box checked for: "open previous windows and tabs" but it doesn't work. In order to do my work I need the 23 tabs I currently have open to show up again after a reboot of the browser or computer. What gives? How long will it take to get this corrected? I've tried everything and read all the instructions but none work.

I wasted about an hour trying to make my bookmarks within a folder I named (let's call it "Foolhardy books and CD's") be transferred to Chrome. Every single OTHER folder and bookmark within NOT called "mobile bookmarks" IS transferring!!! Worst is 1) I didn't start these bookmarks on the computer I'm using...and use 'sync' but no one ever told me that would become a dodo bird distinction when it comes to easy bm transfers. I have tried saving it in JSON or plain text on desk top as new folder and again, it just doesn't like the particular Foolhardy file from any otherwise complete 'add to Chrome from Firefox" etc. There's some dudes on a google search on this with a converter, but it doesn't do a darn thing, and no clear way to contact them "if somethings not working". My concern is if I can't get this bookmark folder to convert out of mobile format, its pretty pathetic, meaning it is trying to make me stay within Firefox/Mozilla format....ugggh!

The wrong phone and location are listed on my Google account I have notified Google without any response. I have a Moto G Stylus this is not on Data and activity settings The generic looking phone and location is from Richmond somewhere in the United States I can't tell where? Can you please help me with this problem!!! I was permanently suspended by ebay because of a suspicious device in my Google account!! Thank You
