My browser could only display the standard system fonts (such as Microsoft YaHei and Consolas), but not the fonts I installed. I was getting 'Request for font "xxx" blocked at visibility level 2 (requires 3)' from the console on every website that tried to use my local fonts.

The problem appeared in obstacle removal mode, but didn't appear in the latest stable Firefox release.

English is not my first language, so please forgive me if it doesn't make sense.

All of a sudden (started today) Firefox will not load ANY websites, except Mozilla/firefox websites. All previous bookmarks, links, and typed in addresses do not load. No changes to virus protection, browser, or any other updates. Other browsers (chrome, opera) work fine.

previous version of firefox , open with option work perfectly. But latest update , it won't work anymore such as potplayer://url... i don't know why but this is working perfectly on other browsers such as chrome...

So I've been doing this for years now, as a Youtuber I take an image file from File Explorer (Windows 10) and drag it over to upload the thumbnail to Youtube. But for some reason the last few days I can't drop the file, it just stays there with the mouse when I let go of the button. On a random page it should let me drop the file and show the image but it doesn't, and it also won't drop if I try a google image search.

I have tried this on Edge and Chrome and the problem only seems to exist on Firefox.

For some reason I updated to win 11 and now Firefox won't let me login to mercadolibre, it will display the login screen, take my username, send me to the password window, enter my password but won't go anywhere from there. The curious thing is that Edge will log me in without any issue and if I do the same thing with Firefox using a private windows it will let me login but Mercadolibre will always ask me to scan a code with my phone which makes the process longer and tedious.

I cleared all the cookies from my system to no avail.

Hi, Avast Antivirus keeps giving me this warning every few minutes. I have never visited the site in the URL and it seems to keep appearing regardless of anything I do. Is anyone else getting this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Texting images via Google Voice had always worked in the past.

Now it does not in FF, but succeeds in Chrome. "Server error" is the FF response.

What has changed? Latest FF on Win11.

Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. Pliki cookie są włączone. 25.12.2023 ten problem nie istniał. Próbowałam przywrócić Firefox na wcześniejszą datę instalacji, ale to nic nie dało. Rozszerzenia i wtyczki odinstalowałam. I cannot log in to my Gmail account via www.google.pl in the Firefox browser. When I try to log in via www.google.pl, the Bad Request Error 400 message appears. The same problem occurs when I need to confirm login to other websites using a Google account. I simply can't log in anywhere. This problem does not occur in other search engines. A login icon appears on the www.google.com website, but not all related services from Google are available - Google account, Google Play, Gmail, Meet, Chat, Drive, Calendar, and Photos are unavailable - these are just the most important ones that don't work. Cookies are enabled. On December 25, 2023, this problem did not exist. I tried to restore Firefox to an earlier installation date, but it didn't help. I uninstalled the extensions and plug-ins. I am not able to sign in to the Mozilla add-ons page. When I click the login button, a new page is shown with my Mozilla account email, picture, and a sign in button. After clicking "Sign in" I expect a page to appear to input my authenticator code, but instead what appears is the window in the attached partial screen shot. Any ideas? Thanks!

In the default search engines there are: "Bookmarks", "Tabs", "History" and "Actions". When I'm searching using "Actions", nothing happens, so I'm confused about what's its function?

I don't remember with which version of Firefox for Linux this issue started; but I cannot play multiple videos at once. If I open two tabs with video sources one of the videos will automatically pause if I start watching the second one.

I have tried disabling my add-ons but the issue persists and I don't think there should be any reason for any of them interfering with videos.

Currently running Firefox 120.0 (64-bit - Arch Linux)

Hello. It seems that Google has created a way of "dealing with" Firefox's automatic removal of the page seeking one's acceptance or rejection of cookies. Each time I refresh the page, the accept/reject cookies pop-up briefly flicks on-screen but then disappears and one is back at the consent page:

So as things are, I cannot access the consent page to either reject or accept the cookies, and therefore I cannot get past the consent page and into googlemaps.

Google may be aware of Firefox's way of "dealing with" the consent page and has found a way of making it impossible for people to proceed to use of the googlemaps website.

When Content Type PDF is set to Open in Firefox in Settings, some hyperlinks (see 'Download PDF' on https://arxiv.org/abs/2402.00923) will navigate to the hosted PDF without downloading to my computer. Others (see 'Download PDF' on https://www.overleaf.com/project/65c142c6d78ec5a8a34636b0) will download to my device then open the downloaded file in browser. (I am also interested in what causes this distinction in the first place.)

When it is set to Save File, both types of links will download to my device without opening.

In my experience with other browsers, the behavior is similar to the first case, but downloaded files are not opened upon finishing downloading, only doing so if the file is clicked on in the download menu during or after downloading. Is there any way to replicate this behavior?

Hi, I just upgraded to W11 yesterday and having a weird issue with firefox. I have "combined task bar buttons and hide labels" set to NEVER yet firefox has a weird issue that no other open program has. I have firefox pinned to my taskbar (image 1.) When I click it (image 2) it's supposed to expand into a full size tab but it stays as just an icon.

But when I right click and open taskbar settings, firefox remembers that I have combine task bar set to off and correctly expands into a full tab (image 3.) I'm not sure if this is a firefox issue or a general windows issue. Thanks for any info anyone can provide.
