Hello,

Since 2 step authentication has been added to the Mozilla add-on accounts, we no longer have access to this account. We have the email address and password, but cant enter the code for the 2 step authentication as the code is sent to an email that no longer exists. We have another account that we would like to transfer an extension to from the old email account. Is there any way to access the old account or transfer the extension from the old account to the new one without having the access to emails sent to the email address of the old account?

This is important to us as the id of the extension used within the non-existent account is preventing us from loading another extension with the same id. This is to prevent us from having to rebuild our NMH software that must use the appropriate id for communication.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I have been using the app/extension Grammarly on various platforms. I added an extension for it on Firefox, but it appears that Firefox is leary of this extension. How should I proceed?

However, I've seen some bad things in Firefox 89, so I'll report it. After upgrading Firefox to 89, access from behind the proxy no longer reaches all addresses beyond the firewall. I noticed that the page opens correctly when I play around with the settings, which is related to the HTTPS-Only Mode and Automatic proxy configuration URL settings. I specify the address of "http:" in the Automatic proxy configuration URL. In that case, if HTTP-Only Mode is ON, it seems that the proxy configuration file cannot be read correctly. When I turned off HTTP-Only Mode and reloaded again, the page was displayed correctly. Alternatively, I can give up the specification in the Automatic proxy configuration URL and switch to the manual specification. That said, before 89, all settings were displayed correctly, so I think it was a trigger for the change in 89. Is there anything you can think of? Is such a phenomenon happening in other people?

I've accidentally blocked notifications on a website that I cannot use without its notifications. There doesn't seem to be any way to undo this in the notifications settings, and I'm at a loss.

In many articles a Firefox Add-On named "Better Privacy" is mentioned agains super cookies. However I cannot find this Add-On when I search in the Firefox Add-Ons. Doesn't it exist anymore? Has it been renamed? If so, into what? If not, what? Thanks for your help

On one computer Firefox won't login to a certain website - the login screen just remains unchanged - but Edge allows login. On another computer Firefox allows login to the website. I don't understand Firefox and Windows 10 settings well enough to know where to look for a setting that may have been changed. I rebooted the computer and restarted Firefox but the problem persists. What to do?

I am probably not tech savvy enough to adequately explain my problem.

My desktop has the latest version of Firefox and suddenly I can no longer log into my email from the AT&T homepage. When I attempt to log into my mail account I can select my user name and PW but when I press enter all that is displayed is a broken spinning blue circle that never stops and I cannot access my e-mail. Pretty sure there is a preference setting in privacy & security that I screwed up somehow.

Have disabled all add on's and security software but still get same result.

Is there a way to reset Firefox to the original install defaults without doing a complete Firefox removal and starting over from scratch? I have Chrome on my machine and email works fine. So am pretty sure I did something in settings that is causing my problem.

FBI's suggestion was to start with an IC3 Complaint. I forgot to tell you. They tried to erased the almost 100GB of evidence I have including the 18GB of devastating evidence against them. Well they infected 3 hardware devices I own hoping that I would insert the flash drives with the evidence in the computer and then they can wipe them clean. I lost 75GB but recovered 52GB from a back up scheme I had. Most important: Now I have them in the act of setting up their trap in my computer, plus I have 3 hardware devices infected with their code. One is a USB type A to USB type C adapter by Belkin. they know the whole thing. I spoke to their security all the way to their corporate offices. As you know they're also a defense contractor. The 2nd device is a 3.3 USB reader by SanDisk (Western Digital). I started telling them until they blocked me. So they only know their device was modify to do evil. But I didn't have time to tell them that 2 additional devices suffered the same thing. So, SanDisk thinks they are the only company. The 3rd device is from Kingston it's 3.0 USB card reader but but the time I finished with SanDisk I couldn't communicate with Kingston. Unless the security force from Belkin told them, they are unaware that their device was used for nefarious purposes by MS and GGL (But attempt to abbreviate.) Bottom line I have the dramatic footage of 18GB and 3 hardware devices. of their code. I hope these info gets to you. I have to take a tiny break. The prompt "Please enter your primary password" has started to appear multiple times in a session. When I enter the password everything seems to work the way it did before, but after a while I'll click a link or access a bookmark and the prompt will pop up again.

Is this a deliberate change or a bug, or is my system broken or compromised?

I am running the latest Portable version of FF. Although DuckDuckGo is installed, and my requirement is that for searching, opening new tabs after the first "proper screen" I get this blue FF page. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it please?

I don't really care if anyone knows my location and I find it tedious to give permission on an individual basis. How do I just let any website that asks have my location data?

Hi! I have the strictest anti-tracking protection enabled and have one question: Firefox prevents cross-site cookies by default, but if I install Firefox Containers, does that mean that those cross-site cookies will be allowed inside that container, even if they're not when browsing outside of any container? My concern is that, if that happened, using Firefox containers would actually diminish privacy instead of increasing it (for example, Facebook would be able to use Instagram cookies because they're in the same container, even though it wouldn't if I hadn't installed Containers). How can I sign out of my Firefox account in browser automatically when I close the window? So that I need to login to my Firefox account the next time I open my browser.

How do I configure a recovery key? I clicked on create a recovery key and entered a long password but it was rejected. I could not find any criteria for what it should look like, what to use or not use when creating it. Please reply if you know the answer, Thank you, Hayward
