System: Linux/Fedora41 Firefox: 136.0.4 Monitor: Acer 27" 1920x1080

When I open a FF window, it opens full screen vertically and to some width horizontally, both dimensions not desired. My usual style (for the MANY years I have used FF and Linux) is to use a FF window that is NOT full screen in either dimension since I normally have multiple windows open simultaneously. This FF behavior has started just recently.

This behavior occurs when starting FF from the FF icon on the desktop, when opening a new window from the FF main menu, or when opening a new window via the 'Open Link in New Window". (Perhaps other ways as well: these are those I encountered.)

I have tried: .... Opening FF/resize window to desired size/close FF using 'Quit': no change on restart .... Deleting the xulstore.json in the profile folder/restarting FF: no change on restart

I would like to restore FF to its previous action: open new windows at the same size as the last one referenced. Can someone help?

RoBoform sent me a notification that my master password may have been compromised and advising me to change my master password. I did change my master password, and now RoBoform won't accept either my old or new master password, so the app becomes unusable. How can I fix this?

I have a new Mozilla (FireFox) account and keep getting emails that say I need to confirm it. They include a button to do so but I'm not clicking it unless I get better information from you. Please help. The email swears my account will be deleted if I don't confirm it. What do I do?

I am using Dashlane for password protection. I have purchased The Nord VPN and now Nord wants to install NordPass seemingly for password protection. I don't want that so what do I do now?

i am unable to see my installed themes and therefore can not use them. the only thing that i can see is "extensions" and "plugins". i looked online for a few hours and have found no solutions that work.

I am signed up for Mozilla Monitor but not for Monitor Plus. I received notification that the Monitor data broker scan will end on December 17 so I want to take action before that date on the scan results I have received.

When I browse the list of Profiles and expand the individual items (via the down arrow), sometimes I see a button labeled "resolve exposures" and most other times I do not.

Why is "resolve exposures" option so infrequent? When that option does not display, how do I remove the profile?

My desktop (Windows 10) Firefox just updated to 145.0.1 and the right-click menu is defective. It has a bunch of blank lines, the only options listed are search DuckDuckGo, translate, and use AI. This ruins my browsing experience, since I can no longer open links in new tabs which is my favorite way of looking at newspaper home pages.

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.
